The 10,000sq m Panda Free hop, which is Duty Free Americas (DFA) President Leon Falic has hailed the culmination of a four-year project which saw the opening of its largest store in Rio ranco on the ruguayan border with razil. The 10,000sq m Panda Free hop, which is part of the state-of-the-art Rio ranco hopping area, opened on 27 ovember. It offers a complete shopping and entertainment experience in the city. Outlets in the Rio ranco hopping complex include a pharmacy, optician and money exchange facility. LARGT TORE It also has the only national and international bus terminal in the area and an open promenade with gardens and playgrounds, food court and car-park with capacity for 700 vehicles. In addition, it will soon incorporate two large entertainment rooms for children and adults. Falic told usiness: The store is 10-times the size of the next biggest (in the area) which happens to be ours. That store is the double the size of anyone else s so this new one is 20-times bigger than any other. Reflecting on the actual project and its main challenges, Falic added: The main obstacle was trying to make it high-end, but the area has little infrastructure and nothing of that size has been built anywhere else.

2 Premium whiskeys and single malts can be found in abundance in the new DFA Panda Free store. Each area of the Panda Free hop has a different theme and includes various amenities including a Wi-Fi zone, children s area and the only Gaming Zone on the border. The new shop also houses one of the best cellars in outh America that offers a selection of high-end wines. A food and drink area provides a gourmet experience to visitors, who can enjoy chocolates and sweets, over 25 beer brands from around the world, premium whiskeys and single malts and the largest variety of wines from across the border. EXCLVE RAD CLOTHIG Customers will also find products from first price to the latest collections of exclusive brand clothing, including Tommy Hilfiger, Desigual, Polo Ralph Lauren, nder Armor, ike and Calvin Klein. These are complemented by a range of garments at affordable prices in a 2,000sq m space. This includes clothing from America Today, the line focused on teenagers, Harvard and the Royal County of erkshire Polo Club. Accessories are also well represented with personalised spaces dedicated to renowned named in optics and watchmaking. These include Michael Kors, Diesel, Citizen, Guess, watch, Invicta and Tommy Hilfiger. An exclusive high-end area also includes Montblanc, vlgari and TAG Heuer.

3 The latest collections of exclusive brand clothing, including Tommy Hilfiger, Desigual, Polo Ralph Lauren, nder Armor, ike and Calvin Klein can be found in-store. PERFM AD COMETIC Perfumes and cosmetics brands include Lancôme, Dior, Chanel, Carolina Herrera, vlgari, Armani and makeup brand YX. A 60sq m Victoria s ecret store, selling panties, apparel, beauty items and accessories is also part of the in-store offer. For babies and children, there are baby accessories, inflatable pools and games and toys from brands such as Lego, Hasbro and Mattel specialising in children s entertainment. A fun corner dedicated exclusively to Disney offers backpacks, lunch-boxes and more games.

Additionally, a 720sq m space has been allocated to bazaar items, kitchen and custom furniture by Cuori, Magefesa, Pasabache and Joseph, a signature that will only be found in Panda Free hop. CAMPIG PRODCT An area dedicated exclusively to camping products offers himano, hilba, Gamo, Muela, Trento, Opinel, ational Geographic, estway and Intex items. Added to this, are tools backed by the Good Year, Milwaukee, ahco and Goldex brands. Falic, who indicated Panda was chosen as the name of the store because it is easy to say and works in any language, is hoping external influences such as currency lead to strong initial sales.
