4 OUR STORY Influenced by Monaco and the South of France, APM Monaco is a much loved contemporary fashion jewellery brand with a touch of Monegasque flair. Named after founder Ariane Prette, APM Monaco was created in 1982 and made her mark first in producing pieces for many of the great names in the jewellery business. After 30 years of developing and perfecting traditional handcrafted quality jewellery, the Prette family, in 2011, decided to venture into the designfocused silver jewellery business and continues to carry on Ariane's legacy with the aim to make APM Monaco not only a household name but one that is modern yet timeless and fits perfect with current market trends.

5 OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR Kika Prette, Creative Director of APM Monaco. With her interest and passion in all things creative, together with strong belief in family traditions, it is inevitable Kika, as the daughter-in-law of Ariane Prette, is to take the reins and look after the creative aspects of APM Monaco. Grew up and studied in Monaco, Kika is highly inspired by her Southern France lifestyle, culture and background but more so Monaco, the country she calls home. At APM Monaco, each design is inspired by Kika's experience through life, work and travel. They could be from a tassel hanging at the end of a 20s silk scarf to complex boating knots reminding her of the Mediterranean sea. Or 70's rock & roll influence to more vintage design. 'It could be anything and everything! Things that caught my eyes'. The APM designs, from Kika's personal taste together with her passion and energy, are modern and minimal with an on trend high-end look that allow individuals to effortlessly style into their own unique way.
