HHCKLA Buddhist Wisdom Primary School English Writing Name: Cheung Pui Him Class: 6A My dream job I am Joe. I am in Class 6A. Do you know what do I want to be when I grow up? I want to be a tour guide when I grow up because I enjoy travelling around the world very much. If I become a tour guide, I ll show tourists around the world. I need to have good organization and problem solving skills. I also need to have good communication skills. I have to take good care of tourists too. I am humorous so I can talk with my tour members happily. To be a professional tour guide, I need
to be caring so that I can look after and help tour members. I also need to be outgoing so that I can speak to people clearly. Sometimes, my teachers and mum say that I am too talkative. As a professional tour guide, I have to learn how to control myself. I need to talk at appropriate times. Also, I have to learn different languages. I have to enhance my English and Putonghua. Then I can communicate with others easily. In order to make my dream come true, I need to study hard now. I have to read more books about different countries. I have to save more money so that I can travel to different countries and places. I will do my best to succeed!
HHCKLA Buddhist Wisdom Primary School English Writing Name: Lin Zi Xin, Joyce Class: 6B My dream job Hello, I am Joyce. I want to share my dream job with you. I want to be an architect when I grow up. I want to be an architect because I want to design my dream house for my myself and beautiful houses for other people. When I was a child, I made beautiful house models. When I think of houses that are beautiful, I feel happy and relaxed. I think I am suitable to be an architect because I am creative. I will design a lot of different styles of houses. I am also outgoing. I can talk to all kinds of customers to know their needs. I have good drawing skills and I am good at observing so I think I have the potential.
If i become an architect, I will not only design beautiful living houses but also will design libraries and schools. I want to design schools that every student will likes. Being an architect is not easy. It has a lot of requirements. Architects need to have a good education because they need to learn a lot about designing, construction and materials. They also need to be good at computers so that they can draw plans on the computer. I have to learn more about computer operation so that I can use computers more effectively. I will also study hard so that i can enter university to learn more about buildings. I am going to be hard-working so that my dream can come true. I Hope everyone can live in a house that I design.
HHCKLA Buddhist Wisdom Primary School English Writing Name: Ho Yin Khok Class: 6C My Dream Job Hello, I am Wing. I want to be a dolphin trainer when I grow up. I love sea animals, especially dolphins. Tourists from all over the world visit Ocean Park Hong Kong and watch dolphin shows there every year. However, it s not an easy job. It demands a lot of skills and hard work so there is a need for more trainers to join. If I become a dolphin trainer, I will feed the dolphins and take good care of them. Also, I will spend long hours training the dolphins in the water. Moreover, I will perform with the dolphins in front of the audience and make them happy. We will do challenging tasks together. Dolphin trainers need to have experience working with
animals and an academic background in the animal-related field. Therefore, they can understand the dolphins and their behaviour well. In addition, they need to be in good physical condition and need to be good at swimming and diving. Then they won t get tired easily when swimming and diving. Furthermore, they need to be have good public speaking and performing skills so that they won t be afraid to perform in public. In order to get more experience working with animals, I am going to volunteer at Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society and join the training program in Ocean Park. Also, I am going to study hard in psychology or biology so that I can better understand dolphins behaviors and train them accordingly. In addition, I am going to practise my swimming skill. I am going to get a diving license too. Last but not least, I am going to work harder to improve my public speaking skill. Although I am a little shy and lack experience now, I will do my best to be a dolphin trainer. I hope my dream can come true.
HHCKLA Buddhist Wisdom Primary School English Writing Name: Hui Yau Chai Class: 6D My summer holiday I had a fantastic summer holiday. I went on a study tour in London during this time. I stayed there for seventeen days. It was an unforgettable experience for me. I set off on 24 th July. I was excited when I boarded the plane as it was the first time to take a flight for twelve hours by myself. When the plane arrived at London, we went straight to the school campus. It was a big and beautiful school with a big garden. There were bushes and colorful flowers everywhere. There were many teenagers riding their bikes outside the campus. They looked very friendly and energetic.
Soon, the teacher, Mr Smith took us to our rooms in the hostel. It was a nice room with a long desk. My roommate was called Jeremy. He was a fat boy with glasses. Unlike me, he could speak English very well. He was smart and helpful. He helped me a lot in the trip. We became very good friends at the end of the study tour. We had English lessons there every day. The lessons were interesting and not boring. Mr. Campbell, our English teacher, was a humorous middle aged man. He always told us funny jokes. Besides having lessons, we had lots of outdoor activities too. We played volleyball at the beach. It was fun. We learned to play baseball and hockey too. We also tried riding a horse on a farm. It was exciting.
The food there was delicious too and I liked the baked potatoes with egg salad topping the most. I could eat two big potatoes every time. I met many new friends on this trip. They were from different countries. We together visited many famous places in England together like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. They were fantastic. On the last day of our tour, we had a lucky draw. I got a beautiful backpack. I was so lucky. I asked all of my friends to sign on the bag. In the evening, we left and said goodbye to each other. Then we boarded the plane sadly. I hope I can go on another study tour next year.
HHCKLA Buddhist Wisdom Primary School English Writing Name: Huang Man Wai, Jasmine Class: 6E My dream job Being a fashion designer is my dream. When I was small, my mum made a lot of clothes for me. They were beautiful, and I liked them very much. Therefore, I want to be a fashion designer to design clothes for people. I think I am good at drawing because I can design beautiful things. If I become a fashion designer, I ll design many beautiful and fashionable clothes. Also, I will watch fashion shows around the world to get lots of ideas to design clothes. Moreover, models will wear my clothes to walk on stage. I think I will have my own shops to sell my clothes. People will like my designs and they will buy my clothes. Therefore, I think I will be famous.
In order to be a famous fashion designer, I need to be creative so that I can design different kinds of clothes for my customers. Moreover, I need to be sociable so that people will like me as well as my designs. I think I am quite creative because I read a lot of books about drawing to get new ideas. I am going to read more fashion magazines so that I can have more ideas for my designs. I am shy. I need to make more friends and make myself more sociable. I hope I will be a fashion designer when I grow up. I hope my dream can come true.
