1. INTRODUCTION: 20th edition 080 Barcelona Fashion June 26 to 30, the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site will once again be the setting for a new edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, the fashion event promoted by the Government of Catalonia through the Consortium of Trade, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM). The Catalan fashion event aims to highlight two important assets: on one hand, the tradition of the textile industry in Catalonia, and on the other, the prestige of Catalonia, and especially the capital, Barcelona, as a center of design and fashion talent. Very aware of both the economic and social importance of the Catalan textile-fashion sector, the aim of the Catalan Government is to firmly establish Catalonia as a worldwide reference in the production and projection of fashion design, make a positive contribution to the globalization of Catalan fashion and at the same time to attract textile production back to Catalonia. 080 Barcelona Fashion is in its 20 th edition this summer, a project that came into being in 2007 with the objective of becoming a reference on the international fashion show circuit. A decade later, 080 has made a name for itself on the international fashion scene. As for the future, the aspiration of the Catalan fashion event is to establish a long-term project that provides credibility and a distinctive seal in the fields of design, production, distribution and promotion of fashion, and to strengthen the links between fashion culture and other cultural and creative industries. To commemorate its 20 editions, 080 Barcelona Fashion not only wanted to return to the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site to show the world this magnificent modernist jewel-in all its glory after the complete refurbishment-, but has also planned an exceptional program of events: 080 Barcelona Fashion Nights, to make this year a true celebration of fashion. The venue: Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site To celebrate its 20 th edition, 080 Barcelona returns to the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, where the event was held in the summer of Inaugurated in 1930 and after 30 years under construction, these installations, the work of modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, housed the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau facilities. With the transfer of the health activity to the new hospital and after a thorough renovation project, the patrimonial and artistic value of the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site has been recovered. Nowadays, the Art Nouveau Site, owned by the Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital Private Foundation, has become a reference in the city of Barcelona, where history and innovation coexist. Sant Pau houses a knowledge center formed by leading institutions

in the fields of sustainability, health and education, among others. These organizations carry out their own programs and projects in the Art Nouveau complex and also undertake joint initiatives with the objective of providing answers to the challenges facing the society of the 21st century. On the other hand, the renovation of the Art Nouveau pavilions, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997, has also fostered the development of a cultural program whose main objective is to showcase this treasure of European modernism. The figure of Lluís Domènech i Montaner and his contribution to the Art Nouveau movement, as well as the patrimonial and institutional value of Sant Pau and its contribution to medicine are its key elements. Layout In this 20th edition, 080 Barcelona Fashion wishes to uncover the spaces within this gem of Modernism, which three years ago were still being restored. In line with this desire, the catwalk will be situated in the Old Convents Pavilion, with capacity for 700 people. Public access, the Welcome Desk, will be situated in the lobby at the main entrance, where the exhibition of the fashion schools final projects will also be located. The press room and 080 TV Channel will be situated in the Old Surgeries Pavilion.

The inauguration of this edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will take place in the Sant Rafael Pavilion which will also function as the Photocall Area during the event. Some of the parallel activities like the 080 Investor Day and the Texmeeting by Texfor the Fashion Industry s International Forum- will take place in the The Francesc Cambó Auditorium The Neo2 Photo Shoot Contest will be located in the Sant Rafael Pavilion. This will also be the space where the competing design and photography students will hold their photography sessions. The 4 th Edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Showroom, the initiative promoted by 080 and the Textile Cluster MODACC, will be located in the Purissima Pavilion and, new this year, will be set up as a trade show, to run from June 28 to 29. Lastly in the complex s indoor gardens,a large part of the Open Area will be set up. This space is open to the public at large and contains the 080 Village and 080 Market Place among other things.

Runway Over the course of a week, the 080 runway will host parades by 37 designers and brands walking their new collections at its 20th edition. Among the designers and brands at this year's 080, some will be parading for the first time, like emerging designers Mietis (presenting their first collection for women) Jnorig (men), Colmillo de Morsa (men / women) and AMT (women). Also debuting on the catwalk will be Catalan designer Maria Roch, with her proposals for women, Elena Estaun (men / women) and designer Gema Sach. In addition, as is usual in the summer edition of the fashion show, swimwear brands like Red Point, Como un Pez en el Agua and Guillermina Baeza will also show their stuff. Moreover, in this edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, firms Boboli, Escorpion, Custo Barcelona and debutants Gema Maria Roch and Sach will present proposals in readyto-buy format. Custo Barcelona, the firm Sweet Matitos, Amoramargo and Macson will all parade in the 080 Barcelona Fashion Nights within the special programming at the 20th edition of the Catalan fashion show. AMT. Adrià Machado, trained at LCI Barcelona, created his first capsule collection in December Months later a line of 3D printed jewelry using recycled materials was added. Gradually the need for a more extensive collection became clear and amt was born. In June 2016 he paraded his second ready-to-wear collection for LCI Barcelona at 080 Barcelona Fashion within the young talent framework. To create for a contemporary determined woman is the main purpose of amt. All pieces are designed in Manresa and made sustainably in Catalonia using only European fabric suppliers. Machado s proposal for summer 2018 is called «Mirage SS18». A collection inspired by mirages, optical illusions that form especially where high temperatures prevail. They mainly occur when light passes through layers of hot air with different densities producing an inverted image of distant objects, creating an optical illusion. The collection focuses on heat, loss of perception of reality and the oases or the places we would rather be. The concept is represented in fabrics such as linen, cotton, viscose and quilted fabrics with plastic. More info:

ANTONIO MIRO The Antonio Miro firm, distinctive fashion brand based in Barcelona with more than 35 years in the business, dresses contemporary men and women with their own sense of design. The creativity, authenticity and elegance of Antonio Miro are nourished by direct contact with the surroundings: Art, cinema, music and architecture permeate the brand s collections. Creative director Albert Villagrasa signs the firm s holistic vision of design at 080 Barcelona Fashion. Antonio Miro launch new fashion lines, new interior design and decoration complements, among many other things, on an ongoing basis. The Antonio Miro firm won the best collection award at the previous edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion.. The Crown is Antonio Miro s collection for spring/summer The creative staring point of the collection is the trend that has emerged over the last few years to adore, idolize and unconditionally love public personalities who captivate us. We follow people that we ourselves have made into public figures through following them on the social networks or on reality shows, among other channels. As a society we create them and give them their growing fame. "The Crown" reflects on the coronation of these characters, on the idolatry and the social changes that have led us to love and want people we do not even know personally. An unconditional love that crowns these public figures the new kings and queens, given the degree to which they influence society. More info: AUBERGIN Aubergin is a meeting of the minds and passions of Anna Uimonen and Nevean Holmes, the two young designers behind the brand. Two different minds, but with the same goal: create a set of values, a lifestyle and designs that endure. With exclusive designs and unique prints created by Aubergin, their collections tell a story. The garments are crafted with special attention to detail, based on the ethics of sustainability and on made-in-spain high quality craftsmanship. As a revolt against disposable fashion, Aubergin`s brand mission has always been to create non-trend sensitive designs. Essaouira is Aubergin s proposal for spring/summer 2018, and it takes inspiration from the colorful world of Moroccan culture, specifically the fishing village of Essaouira.

A total of 24 looks make up the collection: 17 women s and 7 men s, among which 6 unisex garments really stand out. The prints draw their inspiration from the Mozarabic architecture: organic and geometric forms, rough wall textures and vertical stripes taken from the traditional "Djellaba" costume. Unstructured garments, men's tailoring; a mix of traditional and technical fabrics rendered in neutral and saturated colors make up our forthcoming SS2018 collection under the name ESSAOUIRA.. More info: BCN BRAND Since early childhood Pablo Caralps, born in Barcelona 45 years ago and a trained economist, has been interested in the world of creativity and design. He is also passionate about the city of Barcelona. For some time now he has been combining these two passions at BCN Brand, a clothing and footwear brand that takes its name from the city. Bcn Brand presents the collection Emotion. Excitement is what BCN Brand feels for Barcelona and what we want to infect anyone who wants to participate in our new collection with and just let go. We want to catch the attention, get a reaction, stimulate... our mission is to reach the feelings of everyone who sees us, change their mood and, why not? Startle them! More info: BOBOLI Boboli is a childrenswear brand offering a broad range of garments in which the intensity of the color, the prints and the innovative treatment of fabrics are the clear stars. Color, fashion, design and quality are this brand s calling-card, a complete collection covering the needs of all children (from 0 mths to 16 yrs). We create modern, fun and innovative designs in a wide variety of fabrics, colors, prints and needlework details. Top quality brand with attractive prices and practical comfortable garments. We design two collections per year with six product lines Newborn, Baby, Kids, Acqua, Soft and Chic- with more than 750 models per season. Enchanted Forest is Boboli s collection for fall/winter 2017, and it takes place in an enchanted forest. With the magic of fairies and animals, we present a winter-ready, cheerful collection, in which fabrics and prints cover children and protect them from the

forest cold. With a more fashionable proposal, this season we present key items such as skirts, bell-bottom trousers and thicker warmer textures. Once again, Boboli presents in "See-Now-Buy-Now" format so that you can buy the sets you like hot off the catwalk. More info: BRAIN & BEAST Brain&Beast was born in Barcelona in 2010 at the hands of Ángel Vilda. His garments are proposed as games, puzzles, apparently structurally simple hieroglyphics which correspond to complex equations in which color and material form parts of codes in which nothing is random. Brain&Beast proposes mixing garments which combine emotion and reason, with a very strong influence from contemporary culture without leaving out oodles of sophistication and a serious sense of humor. Brain & Breast presents the collection Trilogy, Vol. II / LABYRINTH /. Without memory melancholy is impossible. It is necessary to remember what is lost forever and this is achieved by means of the loss itself, giving rise simultaneously to pain and pleasure. The sadness produced by remembrance brings the past into the present, trapping the person in a maze with no exit where there is only a sense of pleasure in the memory of what was and will not be. There is no renouncement or mourning, but a resignation desirous of the future. According to Lacan, humor is a disguise of being. LABYRINTH is the melancholic memory of lost humor returned to the present in a way necessary for the perpetuation of one's identity. More info: COLMILLO DE MORSA Colmillo de Morsa is Elisabet Vallecillo and Javier Blanco. Elisabet is the creative director and Javier is director of communication and marketing. The was created in Barcelona in 2009, and since then has participated in numerous fashion shows both nationally and internationally, including three editions of the EGO MBFWM and Modefabriek in Amsterdam. Currently, they are deploying their business plan focused on internationalization. They attend the Woman fair in Paris where they make their foreign sales. At the Spanish level they have been working for years with the White Line showroom in Barcelona, every year expanding their

presence in multi-brand stores and they also have their own store in Barcelona. In their debut on the catwalk at 080 Barcelona Fashion, Colmillo de Morsa presents Preludes. Chopin's romantic sensibility and his relationship with the writer George Sand are the starting point. His winter stay in Majorca takes us to that very place, as evocative as his music. More info: COMO UN PEZ EN EL AGUA Como un pez en el agua is a swimwear fashion label whose defining features are craftsmanship exclusivity. One thing that sets the firm apart is its choice of textiles. Instead of the synthetic elastic fabrics used in traditional bathing suits, their swimwear is made of different cottons, giving it a very different style without compromising either ease of use or comfort. Como un pez en el agua (like a fish in water) was founded in 2010 by Raquel Pérez and Sandra Puig and they launched their first swimwear collection in Both share a passion for fashion- Raquel in design and patternmaking and Sandra in communication and image development. Under the name To beach or not to beach, the firm presents a collection that shows that style, glamor and originality... are also for the beach. This season, borders are blurred, freedom and creativity explode, breaking the established norms. Swimwear fashion conquers the streets. The times where bathing suits were only for swimming are over. Elegant one pieces with flounces, fun Mexican style tops, suggestive denim bralettes... the most daring shapes and trends are combined in bikinis and swimsuits for you in the purest Street Style. More info: CUSTO BARCELONA Custo Barcelona was created at the start of the 80s by the Dalmau brothers, Custo and David, following a long journey which took them around the world. On their way they discovered not only new horizons but also a huge swathe of artistic, cultural and philosophical influences. One of the elements that most attracted their attention was the style in California, expressed in the look of the surfers living to the south of the state, as well as the psychedelia of the northern part. The innovative

colorful fashion that they found there impressed them, especially a style of T-shirt that did not exist in Spain at that point. Using this as a starting-point, the brand was launched under the name Custo Line. The Dalmau brothers began to work on learning as much as possible about printing techniques and their finishes, placing particular attention on the area of graphic design, with which they felt particularly comfortable. Over time, research into the use of color and prints turned predominantly innovative, bold and sophisticated. Custo Barcelona could currently be claimed to exist as a style in itself which to a certain extent suggests a particular way of viewing life. A lifestyle that is expressed in their collections for men and women. Light Years Cruise is Custo Barcelona s collection for FW1718, a tribute to the brightly colored fabrics that form the backbone of their collections. The firm presents different Cruise collection lines featuring mini leisure dresses. More info: DANIEL ROSA Daniel Rosa graduated from the FDModa LCI Barcelona School and started his brand for men and women in 2016 with garments which are valued for striking harmony between craft and modernity and stand out for their use of innovative materials and a careful attention to detail. The brand is acutely aware of responsibility and sustainability in fashion, using local suppliers to make all its garments in Barcelona. In 2016 he debuted with his collection "Resilience" for LCI Barcelona at 080 Barcelona in the young talent category and in October, was proclaimed winner at the Budapest EFU fashion show. At the beginning of 2017, he won the Government of Catalonia National Award for Emerging Design at the 19th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion with his collection F / W "Isolation". Rosa presents the collection Roots. The desire to find free, quiet and pristine spots in nature has turned Roots into a collection that flees from the metropolis and its socio-economic trappings, in a quest to find references in the rural; rooted in cultural and social traditions. The main concepts of inspiration of the collection are drawn from the socalled neo-rural movement that espouses the values represented by the word: rural, as opposed to the values embraced by cosmopolitanism. Antagonistic aspects that have been applied to both the couture techniques and the choice of materials in the collection. More info:

ELENA ESTAUN Elena Estaún is a creator who shapes her ideas into conceptual jewels. Inspired by everyday objects, she decides to change their functionality and turn them into works of art. Nuts, ancient keys and fossils could be considered her 3 sources of inspiration. She studied design and fashion marketing at Parson's, New York and several experimental jewelry courses in St. Martin's, London, turned her passion into her profession. It is a jewel design that stands out for its transgressive character in which industrial, urban and ethnic define a new concept of elegance. She decided to turn the jewelry into clothing and present her first collection of jewelry to wear. With Ethnic Vibes, Elena Estaun presents a collection inspired by the metamorphosis of women through time. We merge our jewelry with garments to create a new concept of jewelry. We jumped in time from the origin of the primitive woman to a futuristic woman from Manhattan in We reflect the adaptation of women to historical changes with just one brand and a chameleonic style, ethnic, urban and transgressor, creating a new concept of elegance. More info: ES COLLECTION Carmen Monforte Conde s fascination with fashion began at an early age in her home city. At 20, a textile manufacturer noticed her and encouraged her to launch a career in fashion. It was then that she studied patternmaking, draping and design. In 2006, ES Collection offered her the opportunity to head up a much more ambitious project: develop a line of underwear and swimwear for men. ES Collection s goal was to transform the concept of men s intimate apparel by innovating in style, textures and fabrics and paying careful attention to detail in the finishing and to the added value of each garment. Since the beginning more than 11 years ago, this goal has been met year after year and the collections have been expanded with athletic and casual lines of clothing... Every season is a new challenge for her and her team, and today she is proud to say that ES Collection is one of the leading brands in the sector. In her second participation in 080 Barcelona Fashion, ES Collection presents the proposal Tropik Glitch, inspired by the tropical beauty of the Amazon Rainforest, an

ecosystem teeming with life. The result is a jolt to the senses that plays with the intensity of both colors and fabrics. The Glitch trend allows us to develop a new concept of artistic expression that gives rise to a kind of visual "error", giving a digital touch to the garments, the outcome is a very up-to date vision of tropical prints. All these elements are reflected in a collection in which the interplay of volumes and textures creates garments of great adaptability, which together with the intensity of the colors, have produced a fresh, modern and very elegant collection. More info: ESCORPION STUDIO BARCELONA Escorpion's inspiration draws on the strength of the women who have worn its creations since Her way of understanding elegance makes her a woman whose authenticity and confidence is seductive; a woman who believes in and trusts her own experience to guide her fashion choices. Their pursuit of quality, innovation and excellence in knitwear has made Escorpion an internationally recognized brand. The creative director, Sybille Horaist, has contributed a more contemporary vision since her arrival in 2003, whilst always respecting the legacy of the firm. In 2015 Escorpion Studio Barcelona was opened to showcase their more sophisticated creations, which will be presented exclusively on the catwalk at the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. Escorpion Studio Barcelona winds its way into the dream world of enchanted forests in 'Wonderland', its new proposal for Fall/Winter 2017/2018. A story replete with fairytales and mystery whose main character is a woman who moves between the worlds of light and darkness without a trace of fear. Transparencies play with tulle, jacquards and surprising textures. A set of autumnal colors, from raw, gray, black and green, to a sensation of bright colors, such as oranges, blues, reds and yellows, bring a magical collection to life. More info:

GEMA SACH After 25 years in the family s fashion business, Gema used that wealth of experience to start up her own women s label- Gema Sach. A collection characterized by top quality fabrics and studied patterns, versatile and timeless in turn. Dressing the current woman in a comfortable way, creating a "fashion that doesn t go out of fashion" is her great challenge and goal. The firm was started in 2011, with its collection and Ready-To-Wear and accessories store Gema Sach Capsule 1- (Calle del Tenor Viñas, 12). In the year 2017, she launched her second line and store - Gema Sach Capsule 2-, specialized in dresses for any type of event that calls for subtle elegance. In her debut at the fashion show, the designer presents the collection Eclipse, her proposal for fall-winter Gema Sach's new campaign displays versatility. The long dress is not intrinsically linked to the night, it can be a companion by day. The colors are not limited to the summer heat, they can also complement our winter wardrobe. Everything is possible, when one is comfortable with oneself. This collection seeks to break the stereotypes of dressing, without losing sight of its maxims; Quality and comfort. Varied silks, treated velvets, sets of woven fabrics. The name of the collection "Eclipse", comes from the ability to design some garments with a dual personality, day and night. More info: GUILLERMINA BAEZA The designer Guillermina Baeza was born in the Spanish protectorate of Morocco. In the 60s she moved to Barcelona and the in the 70 s started her professional career that took her in the 80 s to exhibit at major European fashion shows. Her continued presence on the catwalks has created a unique style that exemplifies the tenet of the Guillermina Baeza philosophy: "Swimwear and lingerie are not mere accessories. Today they are as important as outer garments." The great merit of Guillermina Baeza has always been to adapt to the needs of the market, thanks to her intuition, and cover different segments

of the market in terms of styles, tastes and ages. Currently, the designer s daughter, Belén Larruy, also works with her, directing the creative team. I walk towards the Sun is Guillermina Baeza s proposal for spring-summer The designer was inspired by the following excerpt: I can t remember my origins. I forget all my past troubles. I simply opened my eyes and was there. Perhaps it came in a bottle, like those important messages. On a virgin beach, the sand, white and warm in the dawn, rocked my body while the sun caressed it languidly. The lush smell of nature lights my heart and it overflows, helping me to forget, and remember... its summer, it s a dream that rhymes with my dream. There are times, swimsuits, company that make you forget and remember. Then it s summer in the heart and it never ends. A continent filled with contrasts. Nature in a pristine state and a waterfall to shower under in my Guillermina swimsuit, pure pleasure... More info: JNORIG Javier Girón, creative director of the firm, studied fashion at the IED School in Barcelona in 2012 and later worked for the American brand JEREMY SCOTT, in which he helped on different aspects and phases of the elaboration of the Arabic Spring SS13 Collection that was presented at the New York Fashion Week. He also worked with the British Designers Agi & Sam where an interest in tailoring and men's fashion design was sparked. He then obtained a position as Jersey and Outdoor Designer for the German brand S.Oliver. In this position, he gained commercial and industrial experience in dealing with international suppliers; creating up to 12 collections a year and being directly responsible for the correct elaboration of hundreds of different garments. Girón debuts at the fashion show with Two Worlds Opposed SS18, a collection in which two worlds (cultures) merge, creating a new one, in which two silhouettes fuse into one avant-garde modern man. The Influence of Asian and North American culture of the years A.D. The Jungle Brothers SS 2018 is designer Krizia Robustella s new collection inspired by le Sape of Congo; twenty-first century dandies who mix elegance with sport and street looks. The fantasy of the stories and the fact that Ireland is so closely tied to the wool tradition, made her decide to adopt the phonetic title, which is pronounced Lebor Gabala in Spanish. Even though initially the firm specialized in knitwear, it has gone introducing silk and cotton fabrics, prints and embroidery, all with the aim of offering a total look proposal. The firm chooses only the finest materials in search of the highest quality: in knitwear, selected yarns of cashmere and silk, cotton and linen, alpaca and superfine merino wool; for fabrics, velvets and silks, voiles and batiste, linen and cotton. The futuristic lines are drawn from the world of architecture, Pierre Cardin s Palias Bulle and from 60 s design. The collection also pays homage to the motor sport world, represented in pieces such as biker jackets and trousers. MIETIS manages to unify different universes through this collection. More info: MARIA ROCH Born in 1985 in Barcelona, double degree from the Superior Design School (ESDI) and the University of Southampton, Maria Roch has made a name for herself on the fashion scene. In 2006 at ModaFAD she won the award for Best Concept Collection and in 2009, the Best Collection award. Later, she participated in the Bread&Butter and Cibeles Ego fashion shows. After working at Antonio Miro, the designer s latest venture has been to start her own brand and open a Store in Barcelona s Born district. Her collections are characterized by airy finishes. Roch s proposals rely on quality and affordability to distance them from the fast fashion concept. In her debut, Roch presents the proposal FW 2017, inspired by kintsugi, art of repairing ceramics with gold and silver, putting the pieces back together and understanding that the piece is more beautiful after being broken. It is a Japanese philosophy that states that breakages and repairs are part of history and that these should be shown instead of hidden, to beautify the object and show its transformation. FW17 is an intimate collection influenced by Japanese culture. It aims to show how the beauty of each woman's "imperfections" are part of their history, their evolution and their personality and that that is what makes them beautiful and unique. The colors use a bright palette, reminiscent of the predominant colors in old Japanese paintings. More info:

MIQUEL SUAY Born in Xàtiva (Valencia), City of the Borgias, Miquel Suay is the creative director of the firm that bears his name. His commitment to the development and consolidation of his own idea of masculine aesthetics within Spanish fashion has led him to develop two annual collections of prêt-à-porter for men since the beginning of his career. In July 2016, his 'Cinetic' collection, inspired by the legacy of the architect Zaha Hadid, received the Government of Catalonia Award for Best Collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion. For his brand, following the family tradition, Miquel Suay develops different lines of special occasion fashion for women, men and children. Miquel Suay's designs are available online, in multi-brand stores in five countries and in the brand s own network of stores, including its boutique / showroom at Diagonal, 439 (Barcelona). Since 2016, Miquel Suay has been president of DIMOVA, the association of fashion designers of Valencia. Courage is Miquel Suay s proposal for spring-summer COURAGE is the disposition with which the heart and soul face challenges, the firmness in the face of danger and difficulties. It means valor, courage and effort. It is the sine qua non condition of transcendence. The Borgias, the most influential Valencian dynasty of all time, are an example of this determination. Beyond their shadowy legend, Lucrezia, Callixtus, Alejandro and their court were patrons of the greatest geniuses of the Renaissance: Michelangelo, Titian, Leonardo... Their legacy is universal. Miquel Suay defends this patronage and the imprint the Borgias left on the cities that marked their passage through History: Xàtiva, Gandia and València. This is an avant-garde proposal emanating from classicism. Playing this game, I came up with this project, but when I m alone with myself, I don t have the courage to call myself an artist, maybe I m just a madman who understands the times he is living in and enjoys the vanity and narcissism of his peers. My name, AMARGO, means bitter, but everyone calls me AMOR AMARGO, bitter love. To borrow an adjective much used to describe its creator, Amoramargo s first collection takes the name ECLECTIC.A collection for man, woman and child based on strong basic colors like black, red, white and gold. Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site The international presence in this edition come from the hand of the prestigious Italian knitwear brand Missoni. 080 Barcelona Fashion will pay tribute to Àngela Missoni, the current co-owner and creative director of the brand. A tribute which Missoni will be represented by her daughter, Margherita Maccapani Missoni, who will receive the Fashion Tribute the event renders every year to a key name in the fashion industry. Margherita Maccapani Missoni will be the guest of honor at this edition of the Catalan Fashion show, not only on behalf of her mother but also in her own name as a figure of the future in the fashion industry. Since birth, Margherita has grown up surrounded by fashion. Daughter of Angela, creative director of one of the most respected fashion houses in the world, and granddaughter of founders Ottavio and Rosita, her life has been deeply influences by the great names in creativity and style. Today Margherita has become a protagonist in the world of fashion in her own right with her firm Margherita Kids. Precisely to speak about fashion and about her experiences thereof, Margherita Maccapani Missoni will offer The Missoni Family. Born into fashion, an informal colloquial with her good friend Lisa Lovatt-Smith, ex Vogue UK director, and Missoni family friend. The Missoni family. Born into fashion will be a public tête à tête, a conversation between two friends, where they will run over their trajectories in the world of fashion and share their Love for life, children, creativity and beauty. The speakers ANGELA MISSONI Tai and Rosita Missoni s third-born, Angela began assisting her mother in the conception and creation of the women s collections at the age of eighteen. This gave her the chance to reveal and express her innate feel for fashion and to develop her own views on the subject of clothing design. The hands-on experience also made for an invaluable way to learn all the steps in the process, from initial sketch to actual sale of the clothes. She did image development for some of the key licenses, too, such as the main line accessories and the childrenswear. Meantime she explored her own interests and abilities in an intensely personal way.

In the 80s, Angela took an extended break from the business. In this period she married Marco Maccapani, producer/director of fashion shows and other events. She also became the mother of three children: Margherita (1983), Francesco (1985) and Teresa (1988). When she returned to the company, she began both designing a collection under her own name and working in tandem with Rosita, devoting serious attention to the main line. This set in motion a progressive restyling of the Missoni fashion vision for women With brother Luca, today Angela is co-owner of Missoni S.p.A. Besides her role as creative director of the women s collection and of the image from 1996, she also assumes sole responsibility for the company s style, including the men s collection and licenses. Angela is also totally committed to injecting the family brand with new energy. She proved a major force in renewing the store concept and in giving the ad campaigns shot by world-class photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Juergen Teller, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino a most contemporary slant. In just a few short years, Missoni fashion has taken on a fresh new identity. Pleasant idleness isn t for me, she asserted in an interview. I always need to be doing something, in particular with my hands, changing, moving, reorganizing, improving... And if this is her attitude on the domestic front, she certainly puts it into practice on the professional one too. MARGHERITA MACCAPANI MISSONI AMOS Born in Northern Italy on February 22 nd, 1983, Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos is the eldest daughter of Angela Missoni, Creative Director of the renowned Missoni brand, and the granddaughter of the house s founders, Ottavio and Rosita Missoni. Having grown up in the idyllic countryside of Sumirago, amidst a family of fashion designers, Margherita developed a keen eye and a unique sense of personal style from a young age. Like the women in her close-knit family, she also dreamed of becoming a designer. After studying philosophy at Universita Statale di Milano and, after, at Columbia University, Margherita decided to pursue a degree in the dramatic arts in her new hometown of New York. She attended the renowned Stella Adler acting school and the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and also trained at Black Nexxus with Susan Batson. Following her studies in New York, she moved to Paris and Rome to focus further on her acting. During this time, Margherita also functioned as Missoni Brand Ambassador, attending events and sitting for photo-shoots in the brand s iconic designs. The experience proved to be a valuable tool for personal growth and professional achievement and Margherita began to lend her discerning eye and expertise to a variety of creative projects for the Missoni brand. In 2006, Margherita worked with Estee Lauder Companies to launch the Missoni scent, a fragrance inspired by three generations of women: Rosita, Angela, and Margherita herself. She was also the face of the fragrance campaign, shot by celebrated photographers Mert & Marcus. After the successful debut, she appeared in another campaign shot by the photographers for

the new Missoni Acqua fragrance, a scent she developed with the Estee Lauder maîtres parfumiers which launched in Margherita subsequently became an international fashion icon and a model of contemporary elegance. She has been featured in publications across the globe, including Elle, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and W, and has been photographed by the world s most famous photographers, including Mario Testino, Gilles Bensimon, Mert & Marcus, Jurgen Teller, Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Meisel and Bruce Weber. Margherita eventually settled back in Sumirago and began consulting on important projects for her family s brand, such as the Missoni for Target collaboration. Her lifestyle, taste, and natural sense of glamour had become an inspiration for many and, in 2009, she joined the Missoni creative team and was soon named Designer of Accessories, Swim, and Missoni Girls. Amos then met her husband, Eugenio, a race car driver, and shortly thereafter started a family of her own. Following the birth of her two sons, she brought her innate sense of style, entrepreneurial spirit and personal experience as a mother to her distinguished kidswear collection, Margherita, which launched in March With the launch of Margherita, the designer set out to create an assortment of loveable, affordably-priced children s ready-to-wear with one-of-a-kind appeal for little girls sizes infant to age seven. The line playfully mixes colors, textures and whimsical prints something Margherita has perfected over the years and seeks to prove that dressing children should be easy and fun for children and parents alike. Strengthening her ties to iconic Italian brands, Margherita also serves as an ambassador for Peroni. In 2015, she created a men s handkerchief for Peroni and in 2016 she designed the concept for the House of Peroni in Britain, hosting the launch event in London. Margherita is also a fervent and longstanding supporter of OAfrica s humanitarian endeavors. She has served as Italian President of the organization for the past thirteen years and has tirelessly promoted a variety of special collaborations with brands, from Yoox and Target, to Valextra and M Missoni, to benefit the non-profit organization. LISA LOVATT-SMITH At only 19, Lisa Lovatt-Smith, born in Barcelona of English parents, achieved the impossible: to create a niche as graphic editor of the British edition of Vogue. At a very early age and being a close friend of Anna Wintour, she was entrusted with the task of shaping the Spanish edition of the leading international magazine and later to become a correspondent in Paris. Until she met Sabrina, a five-year-old child from a broken home. Lisa decided to adopt her as she continued to work on the magazine. As the child grew older, Lisa embarked on a trip with her to an orphanage in Ghana. That getaway ended up becoming their way of life. Lisa swapped her life in the world of fashion for one of caring for the most vulnerable children in the African country. Today, Lovatt-Smith lives in Ghana and runs 'OAfrica', an institution that annually takes in and cares for more than fifty orphaned and abandoned children in the country with several offices in Europe. About OAfrica OAfrica is an NGO working in Ghana whose mission is to empower children and young adults whose rights have been compromised due to institutionalization, poverty, violence, child

The minister for Business and knowledge, Jordi Baiget, and the president of the MODACC Cluster, Francesc Maristany, will sign the cooperation agreement of this edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion Showroom, Wednesday, June 28 at 14:30 in the Puríssima Pavilion in the complex. a. 3rd edition, 080 Investor Day Wednesday, June 28, to 19.30, 080 Barcelona Fashion. As one of its principal new characteristics, this year's 080 Investor Day will feature two categories: one, technology-based startups linked to the fashion industry, and the other -the participation of emerging Catalan fashion designers and fashion design companies. Thus, 080 Investor Day wishes to continue generating synergies and networking opportunities between international investors and fashion startups, while opening the participation to talents in fashion with fashion label projects located in Catalonia in search of capital, with the aim of giving them visibility and connecting them with potential investors and established fashion companies. Within the category of startups, entrepreneurs participating in the world working on a legally constituted business projects applicable or related to the fashion industry in search of capital. Preferably, the projects should be in Beta phase of product / service / app / site and be in the commercialization phase. Projects should be based on at least one of the following areas: mobile app, internet, product marketing (geolocation, consumer research, advertising, neuromarketing, customer loyalty, customer experience, personalization...), new business / revenue services, services, distribution, logistics, advertising, sustainability, design, technology, big data, wearables smart fabrics and social media. In the category of Raising Brands, participation is open to emerging companies or designers in the Catalan fashion industry who are currently working on an own business project in fashion and / or accessories and in need of funding to carry out their project. Participants must have at least one collection brought to market and a maximum of 4.

From the projects presented, five finalists will be chosen from each group and will participate in the 080 Investor Day on 28 June, where they will present their projects in elevator pitch format (5 min). An international jury will choose the best startup and the best emerging brand, which will receive prizes worth 100,000 in services by Forum partners: McCann, Baker Mckenzie, Grupo Zeta, 4YFN, KPMG Impulsa and ESADE Creápolis. Another novelty of this year's 080 Investor Day is a meeting place where all the finalists will present their projects and where one-to-one contacts with investors, the media and other participants of the Forum can be made The International jury will be made up of David Drake, investment manager at LDJ Capital Luxury & Fashion Investments and author of The Crowdfunding Economy ; Jan Brinckmann, teacher, researcher, consultant and business angel; Enric Jové, CEO McCann Barcelona & CIO McCann Spain at McCann Worldgroup; Myriam Serrano, chief editor of Woman Madame Figaro; Javier Blázquez, senior member at Baker McKenzie; Karina Riera, from the Mobile World Capital Foundation-4YFN; and Luis Lara, senior consultant at KMPG Fashion.
