40 Borna&Fils Borna&Fils is a French fashion house whose creations embody Borna s vibrant spirit, polished aesthet- with retro references at times. The agency were in charge of designing the brand and its applications, with logotype designed as a custom version of an Apsasu, a female version of Lamassu, usually associated as a symbol of power with the ancient Assyrians. Design Solution We created a surrealistic world, mixing Scabal s Belgian roots (references to Magritte) and adding a dandy-ish English touch. Working with photographer David Hughes, we made an abstraction of space and time, leaving out the décor and including some poetic elements.
