Her success was based on her own designs, creating hundreds of unique and luxurious patterns with rich and vibrant colours all perfectly matching her flamboyant personality. Materialised have the exclusive licence to reproduce her amazing designs for the contract market featuring inherently unique qualities suited for use in the hospitality and healthcare industries or anywhere that demands high performance furnishings including flame retardancy, waterproof upholstery, high abrasion resistance, stability and launder ability. Five designs were selected from the archives of Florence Broadhurst some iconic and others not so recognised. Our inspiration for colours were based on documented colours together with today s trends in the contract market. Each design was scanned from the original silk screens so as to keep the hand screen print true to its authenticity. Synonymous with Materialised, all of these designs can be printed onto any of our base cloth options or any print compatible fabrics. There is no minimum order for these designs and colours. The illustrations overleaf are illustrated as if the design / colour has been printed onto a white base cloth. The options are endless when you explore the possibility of overprinting onto any of our print compatible fabrics. It s as easy as 1, 2, 3 1. Select a design and colour 2. 4 the designs Hessian A well balanced textural design used extensively to coordinate colour and design in any project. This dense Florence Broadhurst texture adds an organic feel that naturally matches back to her bolder motifs. Textures were considered by Broadhurst to be some of the most important designs in her collection. Pagoda Lattice designs play a significant role in the Florence Broadhurst archive. Inspired by her early travels to South East Asia and India this geometric lattice design is deceptively powerful. Pagoda was carefully selected from the Signature Prints archive, having not been previously released since Peacock Feathers Peacock feathers is a classic Florence Broadhurst Design free hand drawn artwork, nothing really matching, nothing attached just like a male peacock in full show. This two colour decorative design features life size tail feathers, adding elegance wherever used. Fingers A bold example of purist geometric shapes visually strong, confident and eye catching, Fingers being multi directional, becomes highly usable when visual drama is required. Fingers will always command attention and demand being the star of the show. Miko Miko sits between it s sister the larger scale Kabuki and the smaller scale Ikeda. This Asian inspired motif carries all the romance of Japanese drama and dance. In spite of being a strictly structured and formal design, the shapes alone exude romance and make it visually soft and elegant. The scale of Miko makes it a very usable design in many situs.
