2 Seoul Design Festival A stepping-stone for Korean designers toward the world, a gate for world s designers toward Korea Seoul Design Festival is a design-specialized exhibition based on contents accumulated by Monthly <Design> since 1976 and networks of domestic and foreign designers. The first Seoul Design Festival was held in Seoul Design Festival is designed to enhance design competitiveness of domestic and foreign brands by showing design trends along with corporate brands with the motto Designer Promotion. Also, it has been grown into a place of exchange to support domestic designers expansion to the world and introduce world designers to the domestic market. Through Seoul design festival, a total of 1,200 brands have successfully promoted their own brands and over 2,700 designers were discovered and introduced. Particularly, the largest number of 93 thousand people visited 2016 Seoul Design Festival in five days, so that it proved itself as the leading and influential event in the Korean design industry. As such, Seoul Design Festival has grown into a festival as a stepping stone for Korean designers toward the world and a gate for world s designers toward the Korean market.

4 ABOUT DESIGN FESTIVAL VALUE BUSINESS years of history 16 The design festival, launched in order to revitalize Korean design industry in 2002, will have been held for 16 years in Seoul and 3 years in Busan as of In days, over thousand visitors in Seoul Design Festival and thousand visitors in Busan Design Festival 50 Over 50 thousands interested parties visit Seoul Design Festival every year, including VIPs in the culture and art field, brand marketers and design professionals. We are going to take a procedure to approve entry through fair evaluation based on your applications. Selected brands can enjoy advantage of pre-application for entry and promotion service.
