1 THERMORE, 40 YEARS IN STYLE September 2012 Milano Unica Moda in - Hall 2 - Stand A07 Active chic for Geox, modern classy for Dondup and casual tech for Zegna Sport, various styles and brands that have guaranteed high technical performance in common Thermore thermal insulation - leading the sector for 40 years. Autumn 2012 will see Thermore in the spotlight for responsible fashion, creativity and innovation, without harming the environment. The first new item will be by Zegna Sport that introduces use of Thermore TMK in its items on the A/W collection, such as the Monochrome Plus ski windbreaker jacket in nylon with LED lights; the Urban Camouflage reversible shirt-jacket in quilted nylon and the Techno Graphite jacket, also quilted and reversible, made of Technowool and Light Shell nylon. All the quilting used for label clothing distributed via Ermenegildo Zegna stores worldwide, is made using Thermore TMK: this is Thermore's flag product, made up of 50% recycled post-consumer polyester, in full compliance with Thermore's strict technical standards. Geox, on the other hand, chooses to rely on Thermore Rinnova the sole thermal insulation made by 100% post-consumer recycled polyester - providing retailers with its A/W Performing Concept Collection. All these garments are high performance, windbreaking, waterproof, and have "cuttingedge, ultra light-weight technological thermal insulation, designed to withstand intensive use and guarantee high insulation power, keeping the body at its natural heat and making the garment as soft as a feather." It is important to remember the environmental quality of Thermore TMK and Rinnova, guaranteed by the Textile Exchange's GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certification. The GRS requirements are applied to the entire production chain and the traceability and origin of the plastic is monitored, guaranteeing that they are post-consumer waste. It also evaluates the

2 environmental and social impact of the recycling process and lays down precise standards for labelling. Among Thermore's partners there is no lack of casual wear companies, including Dondup, a men's and women's fashion brand from of the Marches. Dondup's philosophy centres on the value of skilled craftsmanship and "Made in Italy" and so for a number of years it has chosen Thermore as its partner for its autumn/winter collections. "In terms of our modern DNA and quest for excellence in every product," says the CEO Massimo Berloni, "we work with only the finest suppliers, in order to guarantee the quality of the finished garment". Another step that highlights Thermore's quest for transparency and reliability for the end user, is the reworking of its signs. Presented at a preview in September 2012, from January 2013 they will be distributed to the market. The new graphics for the signs is designed to add simplicity, while still indicating the thermal insulation's technical performance. Thermore's five main products will each be characterised by their own colour, as shown in the website. Each sign will have information in 10 languages, due to the brand's established presence worldwide, as well as a space set aside for the "registration number", a type of identity code traceable online that certifies the quality and authenticity of each individual garment. Finally, to crown this Company's 40 years and a path full of new features, a new website ( was a must, with updated graphics and content to provide space for Thermore's innovative products. In the occasion of Milano Unica, some garments made by Zegna sport and Geox will be on display. 5 About ALMAX 15,000 square metres of factory space, over 50,000 articles produced each year, a new showroom recently opened in New York and another in the centre of Paris, but for Almax, world leader in the production of mannequins and display props, it does not finish there...
