You can ask for it for free both at the stores in Rome, Milan and New York or directly online at the website in this case, the card can be sent either to the customer's home or picked up at the store. From that moment forward its name became dolcevita. And it hints at a certain dandyism of those who don it, a kind of blasé savoir-faire that clearly comes out in the gestures of the Roman viveurs of Fellini's film. It is instant elegance not the affected, stiff kind, but rather the aloof elegance of a man who knows how to live his life and how to enjoy it. Up until the early 1900s, turtlenecks were worn mainly by sailors to protect themselves from the air without having to put on a scarf. 16 If there is a fabric both versatile and evocative, it is velvet: a cloth popular with noble people of all eras. In its corduroy version with wide ribbing it recalls wide-open fields and hunting expeditions and is used for its casual elegance and its strength; in its smooth finish evokes of oriental courts and royalty, thanks to its bright highlights and tight woven pile especially suitable for brilliant colors. The Fall/Winter 2017 season spotlights velvet in both women's and men's collections at Davide Cenci boutiques. For her, luxurious, soft, bright, and flowy in silk and viscose for single and double-breasted jackets, bellbottoms and cigarette pants. 25 When you look at nature, at its wonders and beauties, we are sure to always find fascinating surprises. Like the refinement of fur that some animals have in their coats on the peaks of the Himalayas, in the deserts of Mongolia, on the Andes mountain range, in the pastures of South Africa and Texas. Places at times inaccessible, with barren pastures scarce in food. And yet the animals that live there still bestow us with extremely precious, sophisticated, soft fibers. And today, contrary to the way things were in the past, the well-being of the animals is diligently cared for. We are talking about fibers like cashmere, angora, camel, yak, llama, alpaca, vicuña, and Merinos.
