2 EASY AS Target s weekly promo focuses on back-toschool and back-to-college savings. The retailer is offering discounts on school supplies such as notebooks, pens, markers and backpacks. Apparel and shoes for kids and juniors are also on sale, and Target s offering 10% off uniforms and 20% off all athletic shoes for the family. Camping and pool equipment and BBQ groceries are on sale, too. SUPER SAVER Macy s Super Saturday Sale is a three-day event that runs from August 7 through August 9. Savings include discounts of 50% 75% off storewide, and shoppers can use a coupon for an additional $10 discount on purchases of $25 or more. Apparel for the family, bedding, fine jewelry, kitchen appliances and furniture are all on sale. US PROMO HIGHLIGHTS YOU GOT THIS This week, Kmart s weekly promo also features back-to school deals. The retailer is offering everything that kids and juniors need for school, from apparel, accessories and school supplies to snacks and water bottles. 3 HUGE SALE JCPenney s three-day sale also focuses on back-to-school savings. Discounts include up to 50% off kids and toddlers apparel, 50% off boys and girls uniforms, and a wide variety of offers in the juniors section. JCPenney is also offering savings on shoes for the family, handbags, backpacks and bedding. DISCOVER MORE The Sears Be You promo also features back-to-school deals. Shoppers can enjoy savings on a wide variety of jeans apparel, such as shirts, overalls and denim for the family. The retailer is also offering 50% off on back-toschool fashion for kids, including uniforms, activewear and graphic tees. Other discounts. US PROMO HIGHLIGHTS BE YOURSELF The Kohl s back-to-school/backto-college promo features a great selection of items for kids and juniors. Discounts include 30% to 40% off bottoms for juniors, 25% to 50% off handbags for her, and 40% off school uniforms for girls and boys. Discounts also apply to apparel for toddlers and newborns by brands such as Jumping Beans, Levi s and Nike. 5 CLUBCARD BOOST Tesco is running a Clubcard Boost promotion that allows shoppers to boost their 5 ($7.80) vouchers to 10 ($15.60). Items included in the promotion are indicated with a Clubcard Boost icon and the promotion applies across all departments. Customers select the items they want to purchase and go to the checkout, where the boost is applied automatically once the customer adds the vouchers they want to use for that transaction. SUMMER SALE Topshop is also running a summer sale, offering up to 50% off selected items, and the retailer claims to have added hundreds of new lines to the sale. With some products selling at more than 50% off (such as Topshop s Floral Print Sundress, Crochet Overlay Dress, Embroidered Bardot Dress and Petite Moto Acid Wash Mini Skirt), shopaholics can continue their summer spree till the season ends. UK PROMO HIGHLIGHTS FREE WINDOWS 10 UPGRADE John Lewis is offering a free Windows 10 upgrade on all its laptops, desktops and tablets. The store also compares prices of its products with those of other high street competitors and matches its prices to theirs. 6 FINAL SUMMER CLEARANCE SALE Debenhams started its Final Summer Clearance Sale just a few days after its Blue Cross Sale ended, with discounts of up to 70% off. Some of its top offers include a mystery gift with a 40 ($62.30) beauty and fragrance purchase; men s shoes and men s polo shirts at up to half off; and toys, kidswear, women s dresses and shoes, and Tripp luggage at 70% off. BACK TO SCHOOL This week, it s Marks & Spencer s turn to feature its back-to-school range on its website. The edit section mentions new innovations in the range that make the clothes more school-proof and long-wearing, while still being fashionable. M&S s grey pinafore is stylish, with permanent box pleats, yet it s also creaseresistant and water-repellent. The company s shiny black school loafers contain a patented technology that has been endorsed by the UK College of Podiatrists. UK PROMO HIGHLIGHTS HIGH SUMMER SALE BHS is running a High Summer Sale event and claims to have added new lines. With duvets and pillows discounted up to 60%, women s shoes and sandals at 7.50 ($11.70) and men s shorts at 6 ($9.40), BHS is doing everything it can to push out the remainder of its summer stock.
