1 How it all works... FREE Engraving No Inventory to hold or stock hour order turnaround Display takes up very little shelf space How can I get free engraving? It s simple. You just need to begin with one of our starter collections which we have filled with best sellers! (Look for the next to the program item number.) This will showcase your personalization offering to your customers. Most of our customers start out with either the Signature or HeartStrings Sampler Collections because they offer such a great value and fantastic selection of products. But if you prefer to create your own, you may choose from among several programs with our A La Carte Program. By opening an account with one of these options you will be on your way to creating a profitable personalization display that will set your store apart! As we receive your orders, we take the merchandise out of our inventory, personalize it to your specifications, and have it on its way to you usually within hours from when we received it. What comes in the box? All of our collections come as shown, display and all! Included with each display is a descriptive card or sticker with a space for you to write in your retail price. Also included with our start-up collections an additional catalog, order pad, and finger sizers. When can I expect my collection? Most collections ship within two weeks. What can I sell? All of it! Once you have met the minimum opening display requirements you can sell anything in our catalog. It doesn t matter if you have a sample of the piece of not. When you are ready to expand your display we offer many collections featuring new and best selling items at discounted program pricing, so you can get a lot of samples more economically. What are the minimum orders? Once you are set-up as a HeartStrings customer we have no minimums. You may order as little as one piece at a time or hold your orders and place them in groups. Yes.

2 Marketing Materials Catalogs $ $2.00 A set of both the main catalog and the sterling silver catalog is $2.00. Item number is Catalog 2011 FULL LINE Or, realize a 20% savings by ordering a case of 50 catalog sets for $80. Our preferred method of ordering all of our items is through the web portal login section of our website. Call us for more information and to get set up with access. Orders placed online will get priority processing. Alternatively, you may also use and fax the Engraving Order Form for all items that are not embroidered. For embroidery orders, you may use our Embroidery Order Form. Embroidery This form will prompt you for your embroidery font and thread color selections. Only order embroidery items using this order form. Neglecting to use the correct form will result in a service charge and will delay your order. Keep in mind that embroidered items ship separately from engraved orders. How do I read the item numbers? The first letters of the item tell you a lot about the piece. For example: B = Bracelet C = Charm E = Earring G = Gift N = Necklace P = Pendant R = Ring S = Set W = Woven All silver jewelry shown is genuine.925 sterling silver unless specified otherwise. Are there standard sizes or colors to the line? HeartStrings employs various standards to ensure consistency and ease of ordering. Please specify the desired options from those listed in our catalog. 1) If no bracelet length is specified we will send a 7 size where available. 2) If no necklace length is specified we will send a 16 length. 3) If no color is specified we will send black where available. 4) If no font is specified we will automatically use interlocking monogram. For men s items we use Times Block. 5) For embroidered items, if no font or thread color is specified we will use the standard as shown in the catalog. What if there is a problem with my order? Customer service is a very important part of our business. Our goal is to provide a fair and equitable return policy that is simple and easy to follow. Here are the basics It is very important that you inspect every order as soon as you receive it. If you are missing an item or receive a piece that you feel is damaged or incorrect you have three business days from the day the order was delivered to your business to contact our Customer Service department in order to receive full credit or replacement. (For orders drop shipped to your customer, you have 10 business days from the date of delivery.) If you receive an order where the entire package appears damaged, call Customer Service immediately! Do not throw away any of the packing materials unless instructed to do so. Unless otherwise noted all HeartStrings products are warranted against breakage for 30 days from the date of delivery. If you have a damaged item returned to your store please contact our Customer Service department as soon as possible in order to arrange for an appropriate credit, replacement, or repair order. Once you have been issued a return number you have 30 days to return the item(s) in question. If a replacement item is deemed necessary it will be shipped in the same manner as the original was ordered. In most cases overnight or expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. Unless otherwise noted full or partial credit will be determined by our Returns department upon inspection of the item(s) in question. For more specific questions, contact our Customer Service Department. What if I forget to complete my order form or fill it out incorrectly? While we do our best, we are not able to always contact customers about missing or incorrect item information. During certain times of the year this is simply not possible. Items ordered with missing or incorrect critical details are subject to cancellation without notice. What if I order an item that is out of stock? We do our best to keep every item in stock and available to order. Unfortunately on occasion an item you order will be temporarily out of stock. When this happens we will notify you when the remainder of your order ships via your invoice. Invoices are sent via and a paper copy is included with every order. If the out of stock item is the only piece on the order or if it is to be drop shipped to your customer we will notify you via or when possible a phone call. How will I be billed for my orders? HeartStrings requires all accounts to be setup on credit card terms. When there is an open balance on your account your card on file will be run once a month for the balance in full or prior to the end of the month when your established credit limit is reached. As a strict rule we do not open an account on NET30 Terms. However, once active if you would like to be considered for NET30 Terms you must meet certain requirements. Please contact our Accounting Department for full details.

18 Helping Honduras Kids Helping Honduras Kid s mission is to improve the life of orphaned, abandoned, abused and/ or neglected children who otherwise would be in government institutions. This non-profit VOLUNTEER organization manages a Children s Home, Kids Jungle School, and other community outreaches opened its doors on May 7, 2007 to its first HOGAR DE AMOR Children s Home (orphanage). The Hogar de Amor (Home of Love) is located in the city of La Ceiba. It currently houses 22 orphan children who live in the home, with three live-in Honduran staff and rotating international volunteers. Helping Honduras Kids opened the Jungle School doors in February The school currently has 77 students in grades 1-6 and 15 students in kindergarten and is located in a steep jungle area. Some of the children attending this school walk three hours on slippery trails round trip every day just to have the opportunity to get an education and go to school. Most of these children live in remote, isolated areas and face poor economic conditions. Their families rely mostly on agriculture crops and when the crops do poorly, most struggle to find food. At the Helping Honduras Kids Jungle School, students are provided with uniforms, school supplies, backpacks, personal items, medical care, vitamins and a daily hot lunch. This one lunch meal is often the only nutritious meal the children receive all day long. Most of these children would never have the opportunity to attend school, if it was not for Helping Honduras Kids. 20 Websites and catalogers Website Programs High Resolution Catalog & Image Sampler Disk #Z040 - $30 (To purchase this disk you must be an active HeartStrings account. )This disk includes a high resolution PDF of our current catalog and a sampling of images from our different product categories. While it does not contain an image of every product we sell, it is a good resource to help you get started selling HeartStrings on the web. NEW Web Only Account Start-Up Program #Z039 - $50 For new website-only accounts this program is what you need to get started. It enrolls your business in our FREE personalization system as well as covering your account setup. Also included is a high resolution PDF of our current catalog and an Image Sampler disk to aid you in adding our line to your site. Loaner Sample Sets A great website has a unique look all its own. As we do not provide retail images of our complete product line we offer Loaner Sample Kits to make taking your own photography easier. They allow you to get the samples you need to shoot your own images without having to buy the pieces! As long as all items are returned in their original condition, the only charges incurred will be shipping and a small cleaning fee. Catalog Companies For prospective clients that have both print and web catalogs, please call our Customer Service department to discuss your project Frequently Asked Questions - Selling HeartStrings on the Web - Q - I already have a HeartStrings retail account for my shop, how do I start selling the HSE line via the internet? A - You will need to contact our Customer Service Department and complete our Website Licensing Agreement. Q - I don t currently have a HeartStrings account, how do I get started? A - If you have a web only business then you will have to enroll in our New Web Account Start-Up Program A - If you have a retail store with a website then you will need to purchase one of our starter sample display programs (found in the front of this guide) and complete our Website Licensing Agreement Q - Does HeartStrings provide any product photography? A - YES, we offer a limited image set containing a sampling of our product line in individual/group shots currently via a CD. Other images are also made available from time to time in relation to new product offerings. However, we highly recommend websites take their own photography to match the look and feel of their specific site. Q - What if I need an image that is not on the disk or in a different size or format? A - If an image is available, we will provide it electronically to you at no cost. If an image is not available, where possible, we will arrange a loaner piece for you to take your own photography. Q - Will HeartStrings build my site for me? A - No, this service is not available. (Please note, a functional website is required to be an HSE web retailer.) Q - I sell other items via online auctions like ebay. Can I sell the HeartStrings line this way? A - No, HeartStrings does not permit its product line to be sold through third party websites such as ebay or Amazon, nor any website utilizing an auction or bid based system.
