1 The following guidelines are meant to support you once you have learned the 5 Elements for dressing your Type of beauty. These guidelines are not substitutes for any of the 5 Elements; instead, they are meant to help you when you have specific body shape considerations that you would like more support with. The 5 Elements of Dressing Your Truth should always take precedence in supporting you to bring out your truest beauty. These guidelines are intended to support you in making clothing choices that honor the following body shape considerations if you have them. Short Neck - Choose lower jewel necklines - Choose collared or V-necklines - Avoid turtlenecks - Avoid high jewel necklines - Avoid mandarin collars Small Bust - Choose jewel necklines - Choose moderate V-necklines - Choose large collars that are substantial and angled - Choose tops with added texture or beadwork along neckline - Avoid tops with low cut necklines Large Bust - Choose wrap tops with lots of texture - Choose tops with deep V-necklines - Choose collared shirts that button lower (just above bust line) - Avoid showing deep cleavage, as this will add weight - Avoid turtlenecks - Avoid tops with jewel necklines

2 - Choose jackets that button below the bust line - Avoid zipped up jackets - Avoid double-breasted jackets Full Upper Arms / - Choose three-quarter sleeves or sleeves that go to the elbow - Avoid cap sleeves Short Waist/Torso - Choose low-rise to mid-rise waist pants - Choose jacket lengths that hit between the hip and crotch line Medium Waist/Torso - Choose jacket lengths that hit between the waist and crotch line Long Waist/Torso - Choose long top lengths (hit at the top of the thigh) - Choose a fitted undershirt that falls to the crotch-line if wearing a short/cropped jacket - Choose mid to high-rise waist pants - Avoid low-rise waist pants

3 Full Middle / - Choose tops the fit or cinch in at the waist - Choose fitted knit fabric, as it won t cling - Avoid baggy tops - Avoid straight-cut tops - Avoid clingy fabrics - Avoid tucking in your shirt Full Hips - Choose wide-leg pants - Choose straight-leg pants - Choose boot-cut pants - Avoid skinny jeans - Avoid pants that taper at the bottom - Choose A-line skirts - Choose flared skirts - Avoid pencil skirts / - Choose tops that stop above or below hips - Avoid tops that stop on mid-hips

4 Large Bottom - Choose lower-waisted, loose, but not too big, pants - Choose wide leg or boot-cut pants - Avoid high-waisted and tight pants - Avoid tucking in your shirt or blouse - Avoid pants that taper at bottom - Choose jackets that are fitted through the waist - Avoid jackets that fall right to the middle of the buttocks - Avoid straight-cut jackets - Avoid tight or clingy fabric - Avoid heavy skirts with lots of fabric Flat Bottom / - Choose pants with features and/or flaps on the pockets - Choose skirts with ruching on back Long Legs - Choose cropped pants that fall above ankle to mid-calf - Always buy Long or Tall pants - Avoid Capri pants that hit right below the knee Shorts

5 - Choose shorts that hit 2-4 inches above the knee (about mid-thigh) - Avoid shorts that hit higher than mid-thigh - Choose skirts that hit the middle of the knee to mid-calf DON T - Avoid skirts that hit above the knee - Avoid long skirts that hit at the ankles Short Legs - Choose Capri pants that hit just below the knee - Choose pants that can be hemmed or cut so they are not too long or baggy - Choose to shop in the Petite section or buy Short pants Shorts - Choose shorts that hit at mid thigh or choose Capris - Avoid shorts that hit right above the knee - Choose skirts that hit above the knee or just below the knee - To create length, match the color of pantyhose to shoe color - Avoid really long skirts that hit at ankle Thick ankles and calves
