2 Texture is one of the basic elements of design. But how often do we truly think about it? Our designers were so intrigued by the idea of texture, they decided to study it through a whole new lens: the fabrics of fashion. They visited Paris and New York to spend time in the top textile houses. Their texture study became the inspiration for a collection that is about seeing but even more about feeling. We analyzed, considered, pondered, touched literally hundreds of swatches.

3 What is sleek? The absence of color reveals the deepest and the richest textures. That s why grey became so important in this collection. It moves effortlessly from warm to cool. It is reflective, synthetic, urban and industrial. It enhances neutrals as it tones down brights. Grey matters. sleek

16 What is rough? Rough means nubby, chunky, furry, fuzzy, soft, handcrafted, beautifully flawed. Rough is about the familiar. The cozy. The natural. We went back to basics and thought about the textiles that make us most comfortable. A favorite sweater. A woolen coat. A warm blanket. rough
