2 PROMO HIGHLIGHTS SUMMER SALE Macy s is running a five-day special Summer Sale from June 3 through June 7. The promo features discounts on activewear for women and men, swimwear for women and special offers on apparel for kids. SUMMER OF YES Kohl s is also running a summer sale, the 2-Day Sale, with discounts on summer apparel, flip-flops and sunglasses. 3 PROMO HIGHLIGHTS SUPER SALE & VALUES Sears is offering discounts on kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers and microwaves. In order to help consumers Keep Cool and Carry On, Sears has special offers on fans and air conditioners. It s also offering major discounts on outdoor furniture and grills. SALE CONTINUES Saks Fifth Avenue extended its Designer Sale, continuing the same promo it s been running for the past month both in-store and online. Offers include a 30% 40% discount on a wide variety of designers, such as DVF and Theory in the women s section and Cole Haan and Fendi in the men s section. 4 PROMO HIGHLIGHTS SAVINGS GUIDE Kmart is helping consumers prepare for the hot weather by promoting sunscreens, beach toys for kids and camping equipment such as shades and coolers. Kmart is also offering discounts on hair removers, shavers and barbering kits. BUY MORE, SAVE MORE This week, Target s promo focuses on stocking up on favorite products. Offers include buy one, get one 50% off on cereal, two 24 packs of bottled water for $7 and 0 for $0 on yogurts. 5 UK PROMO HIGHLIGHTS BANK HOLIDAY 40 seemed to be the magic number this week with Debenhams, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer all offering 40% off selected items. House of Fraser held a Brand Event and offered customers the opportunity to create an online wish list before the event officially started. Debenhams were promoting 40% off selected men s shirts and bed linen as part of a wider promotion. Marks & Spencer continued its 40% off promotion on its sun care range, with some products reaching half price too. NEW SEASON, NEW WARDROBE The four main UK department stores are all busy promoting new collections and new lines, particularly within women s wear. Marks & Spencer focused on inhouse brands and sent out s to showcase its new collection by 60 s model Twiggy, who has worked with the retailer for a number of years now. House of Fraser used big brands to attract customers with shoes, handbags and dresses from designers such as Ted Baker, Michael Kors and Karen Millen. 6 UK PROMO HIGHLIGHTS NEW SEASON, NEW WARDROBE Debenhams put its Designers at Debenhams collections at the forefront and hand-picked its favourites for customers. John Lewis did the same in it s the Edit section, which shoppers can refer to for style and fashion inspiration. In this week s release, the retailer focused on brands such as Warehouse, Oasis and Carvela. POP-UP PROMOTIONS Debenhams had the below offer on its website.
