Designs. What started as a little hobby in the evenings has now become a thriving full-time business. Kristie designs out of her home studio in Brisbane and has a online store selling modern sewing products which compliment her patterns where she works alongside Grandpa BOO! to pack and ship orders. Kristie has submitted the Firefl y dress for this issue. Kylie Gersekowski Little Moo Designs Kylie s love of sewing began when she was young. Her Nan and Mum are both amazing dressmakers. Little Moo Designs was started in 2010 when she wanted to design a unique hobby horse for her daughter. She now designs and sews many designs with a focus on high quality children s fashion, accessories and her beloved hobby horses. Kylie has contributed the Busy Block pattern to this issue. Jess DeWitt Gracious Threads Gracious Threads began as a place for Jess to share all the sewing she did for her friends and family. It soon grew, as other sewists shared her love for simple, practical clothing for kids. Jess lives with her husband and 3 children on their Canadian dairy farm. Jess has contributed the Traveller Tee to this issue. Jody Herbert Jody s Crafty Creations Jody lives on a small farm in East Gippsland Victoria with her husband & two kids where they run beef cattle. It s busy but lots of fun and they love living there. She loves sewing, making & designing her own softie toys and loves teaching kids to sew too. Jody has contributed the Easy Softie Pattern to this issue. 2 Kate Anderson Horris & Deedle Kate and her sister share their blog, Horris & Deedle and love of sewing. Kate s blog focuses on her love of quilting. For this issue Kate shares with us her Raincloud Applique Quilt. Crystal Motes Stitched by Crystal Crystal is a wife and working mommy to 2 wonderful children living in sunny Florida. You can usually fi nd her at her sewing machine fi rst thing in the morning before her kids wake. She loves to sew, craft, DIY, and photograph and she blogs about it all. Crystal has submitted the Sunny Daytripper bag pattern to this issue

She opened Ric-Rac & Retro in 2013 and quickly became known for her raw-edge appliqué designs. With a background in Education, Drama and English, Sarah loves making things with a bit of a literary touch about them. She loves how appliqué is all about the attention to detail and giving new life to fabric scraps. The Snow Queen appliqué template and tutorial is her pattern-making debut. At the start of the pattern lift-out (page 159) is a printing guide so you can see which pages you ll need to print to make which pattern. The pattern lift-out has the pattern pieces, sizing information, fabric requirements and other important information for the construction of each of the patterns. The instructions for making the patterns are in the e-zine pages. Before making any of the patterns you should read the pattern thoroughly.
