I would love to fill you in a little on the brand if you don t already know! :) Palas is an Australian jewellery design brand established in 1996 with manufacturing predominantly in Indonesia and also Australia and China. Palas Jewellery began in 1998 with my sister Eran Svigos. Both of us were in our early 20 s with Degrees in design and some business experience. We set out to create the Palas brand by filling, what we saw as, a niche in the Australian market for good quality, uniquely designed fashion jewellery at very affordable price points. In 1996 we launched the collection with just 30 earring designs and now Palas has a back catalogue of over 1500 designs. Palas jewellery is hand crafted in solid sterling silver (925) in Indonesia. I continue to be inspired by Indonesia s traditional methods of silver smithing and greatly admire the creative artisan community that exists there. One of the most enjoyable and inspiring aspects of this creative business is spending time in the beautiful country of Indonesia. My design aim is to create jewellery that can be worn by women of all tastes and ages where they can style/combine pieces in their own way. I don t follow trends at all but prefer to stay true to my own intuition on colour, design and style and I combine this with my own spiritual beliefs of light, love and positivity... I have started to work with other metals such as brass and bronze these are beautiful materials combined with sterling silver. This combination of metals is becoming a signature look for Palas and enables me to offer more exciting designs at wonderful prices. Palas has established an impressive client base of unique fashion, accessories, jewellery and lifestyle stores throughout Australia. I have a wonderful sales team of fashion agents across Australia who are as passionate about the brand as I am and work hard to ensure Palas is presented in exciting stores that compliment the brand and each other. The essence of the Palas philosophy is commitment to design. I design every element of the Palas collection each jewellery piece and all of the display, marketing and branding we provide to our retailers. The presentation of the Palas brand is one of beauty, quality and integrity. Palas branding is further supported via the Palas website ( com.au), Facebook, Twitter, merchandising and display material and regular features in Australian fashion magazines and on TV celebrities. The Palas jewellery collection is extremely affordable with prices starting at AUD$11 retail for uniquely designed and hand crafted jewellery. Most of the collection retails under AUD$100. My love of typography and vintage treasures has inspired this unique range.

Each piece has a different coin with some designs complimented by delicate natural pearls. Pictured is just a selection of the types of coins each style may have. Countries where these coins originate include Italy, Spain, Denmark, China, Japan, Greece, Africa, Indonesia, United Kingdom, France and Germany. Sterling silver frames each coin so that the coin detail is revealed on both sides. Expert silver smiths have carved a replica of a French coin (both sides) out of wax that has then been stamped into brass and silver to create this unique wax seal effect.
