4 MESSAGE Our Jewels & Vintage Watches sale is a great way to begin the 2018 auction year with a fresh perspective, as we welcome Graciano ( Jojo ) Bailon, Jr. as Specialist, Timepieces. Jojo brings to his position a wealth of proven experience in banking, finance, and business, in addition to being a well-known and respected connoisseur in the field of vintage watches and haute horology, having one of the most extensive watch and watch reference book collections in the Philippines. Jojo previously served as Specialist, Timepieces at Salcedo Auctions from , where he gave numerous talks on watch collecting. He will continue to focus on expanding the audience for timepieces through the #salcedosays public programs, sharing his expertise through object-based learning. Jojo replaces Paolo Martel, who has decided to devote his time to other pursuits. Seiko showcased to the world a number of superior timekeeping instruments to record all the events. With pride, the is Seiko s first chronograph wristwatch released to commemorate the Tokyo Olympics. Seen at the case back is the image of the Olympic torch. This is the first JDM release with the sector dial and eternity ring on the dial with only 3 months of production. More special than the other variants for international release with more units produced. As such, this particular watch is not often seen in the market and more so in this near museum condition.
