2 ABOUT US We re a handcrafted art business with beginning roots in silver jewelry. In this catalog you will see a collection of our current pieces. We hope to update the catalog every few months, so you can see the changing product we have! Since our pieces are handcrafted, no two pieces will be identical. We can and will take custom orders within reason. We will always do our best to accomodate you, the customer. Your satisfaction is our top priority. 3 POLICIES CUSTOM ORDERS For any custom orders, we require atleast half of the payment up front. After payment has been made please allow up to two weeks for fabrication depending on the complexity of the order. After completion there will be a 2 month alotted time for you to final payments on the order unless other arrangements are made. If you fail to pay within this time your item will default and we reserve to the right to put the item up for public sale. Remember we will work with you as long as you are reasonable and are able to work some kind of arrangement out with us. SHIPPING Items will be shipped via USPS media mail unless otherwise specified by the buyer. Items will be shipped within a 2 weeks of being paid for. W e will do our best to ship items out as soon as possible. RETURNS/REPAIRS If an item arrives damaged please contact us ASAP in order to receive either a full refund or a new item. If any items are cancelled you will receive a 50% refund unless otherwise contacted. This is due to the cost of materials that may have already been put into creating the personalized piece. For repairs, please send the item back and we will replace or repair any damaged piece for free. damages include, severe scuffs or scratches, missing stones, or cracks in the piece. STONE TYPES Neon Muse will be using many types of gemstones and beads. In this section is some basic information and history on each stone type we use.

EMERALD The most prominant property of emeralds are their color. This can be deep bluish green or a yellowish green and looks spectacular in large clean stones.

AMETHYST Amethyst is the most precious and valuable stone belonging to the quartz group of minerals, with exception to rare blue-green gem silica.

Fine amethysts are featured in the British Crown Jewels and they were also a favorite of Catherine the Great and Egyptian royalty. PAUA SHELL Paua Shell is the most colorful of all the abalone shells.

4 STONE TYPES Neon Muse will be using many types of gemstones and beads. In this section is some basic information and history on each stone type we use. If you have a request we can redesign any of our many beautiful pieces with your preffered choice of stone, or we will do our best to create a completely custom piece if you have one in mind. Emeralds are unfortunatly much more prone to inclusions and flaws than many other gemstones. PAUA SHELL Paua Shell is the most colorful of all the abalone shells. Paua Shell is one of the world s most beautiful shells, with irridescent shades of blue, green, purple and pink. It is only found in the sea around New Zealand. This marine mollusk eats seaweed and lives clinging to rocks at depths of 1-10 meters, normally along the shoreline. ONYX The name comes from the Greek word onux, which means fingernail. According to Roman Mythology, Cupid cut the divine fingernails of Venus with an arrowhead while she was sleeping. The fates turned the clippings into stone so that no part of the goddess would ever perish. GARNET Garnets appear in a range of colors. They are bright stones with a wide range of values and rarities. Garnets vary from the common almedine garnet all the way to the green and fiery demantoid garnet. 4 NEON MUSE PRODUCT CATALOG

These rare stones can now be easily and cheaply recreated through modern proccesses making amber much cheaper and readily available than in years past. TURQUOISE Turqoise has had a place in jewelry since ancient times. It comes in a variety of colors. Turqoise is now available on the market in larger quantities then ever. Ancient people believed turqoise were spiritual stones and held mystic powers. PINK SAPHIRE Pink saphires, are yet another form of corrundum. It is an extremely hard and a very expensive exercise trying to find a soucre of natural Sapphires that have not been heat-treated as these gems are amongst the most valuable gemstones known today.
