Chooks in mobile sheds fertilise and scratch up the top soils as they are moved Around the paddocks, making the soil more seed and grass friendly. Chooks farmed this way are able to live with the way chooks like to live. Plenty of fresh grass, shade, leaf litter to scratch in, dust baths and safe shelter. Our current Stocking density is 185 hens per hectare. Tribal Gardens provide you an opportunity to support new growers in Canberra and purchase herbs and vegetables which have been grown on site. You may even find some vegetables that you have never tried before.
