3 Palme d Or trophy for the 7st Cannes Film Festival, and made each year with Fairminedcertified ethical gold by Chopard in its Haute Joaillerie ateliers. This is the time of year to indulge again in flamboyant and seductive one-of-a-kind high jewels from the most revered high jewellers. Serious pièces de résistance, mostly necklaces, many extraordinarily lavish, for which no dress will ever do them justice, my own quote from last year / same time review of some of the best red carpet renditions. Once again to coincide with the Cannes Film Festival, here is a selection that will enthuse both investors and collectors. Key adjectives to describe this line-up of creations: phantasmagorical, opulent and rare. The 7st Cannes Festival, presided over this year by the admirable Australian actress, Cate Blanchett, is set to bedazzle even more when you know how fashionably trailblazing the new head of the jury is. More than ever fashion is going to meet glamour and fantasy. The Festival s high jewellery Official Partner, Chopard, embodies best this trilogy, with this year on added value since the Swiss high jeweller has officially announced its commitment to 00% ethical gold all across its ranges.
