It is the collection of folk songs, hymns, excerpts from novels, poems, plays, including The Hound of the Baskervilles, Little Dorrit, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Lady of the Camelias, Miss Scooter. This book was started in August 1913, while Emile Nelligan was already interned at St-Jeande-Dieu Hospital. Nelligan was a romantic and symbolist poet born in Montreal, whose work marked the Quebec poetry.
