2 What s On Schools 2012/13 Workshops Curriculum-linked Workshops for KS1 and KS2 All our workshops are available all year. Workshops can be booked for Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. We recommend you book well in advance to ensure you get your ideal visit date. Teachers this brochure is for you if you want to find out more about an exciting hands-on museum experience for your Key Stage Two and Key Stage One pupils. The award winning Investigate schools programme at The Collection museum presents lively, hands-on, cross-curricular workshops based around our unique collection of artefacts. We want you to have a hassle-free, stimulating visit that can be used as a learning tool back in the classroom, and your pupils to have so much fun they didn t even notice they were learning. We like the children to feel like time detectives discovering about the past for themselves. Talk to us if you have specific ideas in mind as the programme is designed to be flexible to suit your needs. Look out for new workshops during the year. My favourite bit was the Big Dig because you had to find hidden treasures Joshua
