4 The ultra-sharp lancet point of the Terumo dental needle, minimises your patient s discomfort and pain. The need for a surface anaesthesia prior to injection can be avoided as well. Instructions for Use The high-tensile needle is difficult to break, even if the patient should move violently during the injection. A reliable fixation is guaranteed, as you are able to screw the needle hub directly and securely onto the syringe. No accidental disconnection or leaking will be possible. A useful bevel indicator, visualised by an arrow on the needle hub, will allow you to align the bevel of your needle for easier insertion. The individual packaging of each needle in its own plastic sheet, with clear colour coding ensures the sterility of the needle up to the moment of injection. In addition, the colour-coded sealing label provides easy identification of gauge size and facilitates inventory control. The broad selection of short and long sizes allows you to make the most optimal choice of needle length for conduction anaesthesia as well as infiltration anaesthesia. 1. 6 A smooth penetration with an optimal penetration resistance thanks to the spinal needle s bevel, which is oriented at a 22 angle. This angle gives you an optimal feel on where exactly the needle point is. The smooth and rounded cutting edges of the cannula and stylet points are perfectly aligned. Due to the precise fit, there is minimal friction between both parts and the stylet can move easily in and out the cannula. The needle will not bend or break, not even in case of an unexpected patient spasm as it is made of special high tensile materials. The danger of an inadvertent detachment is non existing, as both cannula and stylet are firmly affixed to the hub. Designed to fit to your fingertips the grip-hub will ensure that your fingers are not cramped and you can push the needle without straining. The grip-hub will equally allow you to accurately confirm the flow of spinal fluid. To easily determine the orientation reading of the needle point, a logo is embossed, aligned with the needle bevel. The activation of the safety device is clearly indicated by an audible click upon activation and it can be confirmed by a visual check. The ergonomically designed finger grips and push-button allow a perfectly controlled and stable injection. The highly transparent barrel allows for easy recognition of air bubbles and turbid medication. The bold scale markings on the barrel assure the precise measurement of the medication dose. The firm and definite end stop prevents accidental separation or spillages, and avoids exposure to hazardous or infections fluids. We equally offer an OPAQUE syringe within our range that can be used to administer photosensitive drugs. The syringe is latex free, opaque, 50 ml, with a luer lock system and can be used on syringe pumps. The latex free gasket designed for safety uses a highly inert thermoplastic elastomer material. It reduces the risk of leaking or medication interaction. This unique material equally allows the plunger to move more smoothly.
