Make all reservations beforehand to save time and hassle with queuing- you may even get early booking discounts - and ensure you are punctual as your booking may be discarded due to late arrival 2. For practical reasons travel light, and mix and match your items with accessories to stretch out your wardrobe 3. Avoid bright and white clothing for safari adventures as this can distract wildlife 4. Start packing and shopping as soon as you can, don t just wait for the new season as you will have other priorities and may not find what you are looking for last minute 5. It may be easier and cheaper to organise your toiletries before travelling rather than shopping once you reach your destination 6. Always leave with everything fully charged and take extra phone credit, memory cards, batteries and chargers 7.
