2 Cason s Pride & Joy Performance Bull Sale 201 Welcome Everyone! On behalf of Cason s Pride & Joy Simmentals, we would like to personally invite you to our annual bull sale. We would like to thank all our past customers for their loyalty to our seed stock business over the years. It s hard to believe we have been producing seed stock for forty years now, but without the tremendous support you ve given us over the years, we wouldn t have been successful. What is the most gratifying to me, is all the friends and relationships we have developed over the years. It is very rewarding to be working with second and third generations of families in the cattle business since we began in 1. It s an honor to be working with such good people. Our goal for producing high quality seed stock that excel in all sectors of the beef production has not wavered. We will continue to do our best to provide our customers with the best genetics available. We do welcome your feedback on the bulls throughout the year so that we can better serve our customers. The bulls offered in this sale were designed with the commercial cattleman in mind. The genetic makeup of these bulls is not by accident. These planned matings were designed that we might be able to offer our customers superior genetic packages that suit their needs. There are some differences in each of the bulls from frame size, type and EPDs. You can select the traits and type of bull that fits your program. If we can assist you in any way, please let us know. We can visit about the traits and marketing goals of your operation and find the right bulls for your program. All our bulls were fed and developed with the best interest of the bulls in mind (longevity). Bulls were creep fed (low starch ration) and weaned at - months of age. After, weaning bulls are fed a high roughage growing ration consisting of 1st cutting brome hay, earlage and high quality protein (ADM s Amino gain). We do manage bunks very closely to insure bulls never see too much grain. We do offer to bring the bulls back to the farm after the sale to finish developing the bulls, we will keep them until May 1st at no charge. But we do ask that you consider insuring your bulls, injury or death of a bull will be of the buyer s responsibility.
