Its signature decorative style is pure and elegant, incorporating details inspired by Moroccan culture into a contemporary design. Built where the summer palace of Maréchal Lyautey, Resident-General of Morocco from 1912 to 1925, formerly stood, the hotel reproduces the emblematic style of the large arcades that once adorned the building s facade. The hotel also re-interprets the Medina s architectural codes with a modern touch. Natural, noble local materials like Taza stone, marble, wood, metal and glass were used to create a luxurious environment.
