9 PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS Keep container tightly closed. Store in cool, well ventilated place that is locked. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flame. No smoking. Take precautionary measure against static discharge. Do not breathe vapors. Wear Protective gloves. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Dispose of in accordance with local, regional, national, international regulations as specified. In Case of Fire: use dry chemical (BC) or Carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) fire extinguisher to extinguish. First Aid If exposed call Poison Center. If on clothing take off immediately and Rinse skin with water.

15 HAZCOM TRAINING Specific items to cover during training: New labeling requirements Safety Data Sheet information The location of any hazardous chemicals in the work place. The location of written HAZCOM Program, SDSs and Hazardous Chemical Inventory list. The measures the employer has in place to protect employees from hazardous chemicals. Training language and mode of training

16 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) The employer must provide PPE when exposure is reasonably anticipated Inspect PPE before use Do not take PPE home Wash hands prior to and after use of gloves

17 Let s Review YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW ABOUT ANY POTENTIAL CHEMICAL HAZARDS! The employer must have a current HAZCOM standard and allow all employees to review upon request labeling, SDS, training. The employer must have properly labeled containers. Never use a non-labeled chemical container The employer must train you employees to use the SDS sheets and where they are located. Always wear proper PPE.
