6 SECTIONING STEP 1 Begin with the hair parted down the center to the nape. STEP 2 Divide hair into four sections: two from the front hairline to the mid-ear; two from the mid-ear to the nape. BACK VIEW OF SECTIONING. MID SHAFT/ ENDS BLONDE BALANCING STEP 3 Starting with a back section: take a fine horizontal slice parting, and apply Formula 1 from the line of demarcation (about 1-inch from scalp) to the ends. STEP 4 Continue working up the head taking fine, back-to-back horizontal slice partings with Formula 1. Apply the formula from the midlength to ends, working all the way through to the crown. Repeat on the opposite back section. STEP 5 Repeat the process on a front section until you reach the parietal ridge. Repeat on the opposite front section.

7 STEP 6 Once all the hair has been foiled, you should be left with a top Mohawk section that extends from the parietal ridge to the top. STEP 7 Starting in the front fringe area: take horizontal slices and repeat the same foiling process throughout the Mohawk section. TIP Check your back foils every 5 minutes. Once hair reaches a Level 11 (palest yellow), rinse hair immediately to avoid over-processing, then continue with foiling. STEP 8 Continue applying Blonde Life Crème Lightener Formula 1 throughout the Mohawk section until all hair has been foiled. COMPLETED FOILING FOR BLONDE BALANCING Process until hair reaches Level 11 (palest yellow). Rinse hair thoroughly (starting with the back sections to avoid over-processing), then shampoo and condition with Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner. Blow-dry hair, then proceed with lightening regrowth area. COMPLETED FOILING FOR BLONDE BALANCING SECTIONING FOR REGROWTH APPLICATION

8 SECTIONING FOR REGROWTH APPLICATION Divide hair into three sections: two in the front with a top middle parting; one in the back. STEP 9 Start by outlining each section with Formula 2, making sure to not overlap into the previously lightened hair. STEP 10 Take very fine, 1/8-inch horizontal sections, and apply Formula 2 to the regrowth area at the front. Be sure to saturate the sides of each section. TIP Blonde Life Crème Lightener has a smooth, creamy consistency that glides easily through hair; avoid over applying product to maintain working control.. STEP 11 Continue applying Formula 2 to the entire regrowth area throughout the head. Process hair until a Level 11 (palest yellow) is achieved. Rinse hair, then apply Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo. Dry hair using two towels, gently squeezing hair to avoid roughing up the cuticle. Comb hair with a wide-toothed comb, then move onto the toning application. Apply Toning Formula from scalp to ends using a bottle applicator or bowl and brush. Process hair for minutes (or until the hair is a cool, icy tone), then shampoo and condition with Blonde Life.
