3 Good Food Buying organic and local is muy importante when it comes to putting food right on your skin, but I know that it can get expensive. So, if you can t afford (or find) everything organic, it s OK! Use this list of the Dirty Dozen & Clean 15 to help guide your decision making. It s the top 12 foods with the most pesticides (that you ll want to buy organic) and top 15 foods that have the least amount of pesticides (that you can get away with buying non-organic). Print this page, cut out the picture and stick it in your wallet.

4 Strawberry Lemon Mask...for acne 1 tsp lemon juice 1 egg white 1 1/2 tsp honey 1/2 cup strawberries 1. Mash or blend the all the ingredients together. 2. Smooth over face. 3. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. 4. Rinse with warm water.

5 Apple Cider Vinegar Toner...for acne 1 tbsp raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp lukewarm filtered water 1. Mix the apple cider vinegar and filtered water together. It s good to start with a 1:1 ratio (50% ACV, 50% water), but you might find you need to dilute the mixture more based on the sensitivity of your skin. 2. Take a cotton pad or the corner of a washcloth and dip it into the solution. Spread evenly all over your face. 3. Don t rinse it off, but just let it air dry, then finish with a light layer of coconut oil as moisturizer. The smell can be a bit potent at first, but don t be dismayed! The smell quickly dissipates.

6 Baking Soda Mask...for acne Lukewarm filtered water 1-2 tbsp powdered baking soda 1. Put the baking soda in a small bowl. 2. Slowly add water until it soaks into the baking soda and forms a paste. 3. Apply the paste to your face using small circular motions.

7 Cranberry Mask...for acne 3/4 cup cranberries (fresh berries work the best) 1/2 cup seedless grapes (red or green) 4 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice 1 envelope plain gelatin 2 tsp oat powder (if you can t find oat powder, put some raw oatmeal in a coffee grinder or blender) 1. Puree the cranberries and seedless grapes in a blender. 2. Mix in the gelatin, oat powder and lemon juice and blend until it forms a paste. You can adjust the consistency by adding a little water if it s too thick or a bit more oat powder if its too thin. 3. Put the mixture into the fridge for an hour so that it will thicken up. 4. Take the mixture out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about minutes (unless you want a cold facial, which works well if your skin is puffy or irritated). 5. Apply the facial mask and let it soak in for minutes. 6. Rinse with warm water.

8 Okra Mask...for wrinkles 4 fresh okra 1. Boil the okra and then mash it together. 2. Apply it to the face for 20 minutes and then rinse. Okra contains vitamin A and E and plumps up the skin.

9 Tomato Pore Cleanser...for tightening pores 1 grape or cherry tomato 1. Cut a small tomato in half and rub it on your cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. 2. Allow the juice to dry on your face. 3. Rinse & moisturize!

10 Chickpea Paste Facial...for tightening pores 1 C chick pea flour 1 Tbsp turmeric powder Almond oil 1. Combine all the ingredients to form a paste. 2. Rub onto face using circular motions. 3. Let sit for 5 minutes and then rub off. (Do not wash it off!) 4. Rinse your face with lukewarm water.

11 Papaya Honey Oatmeal Mask...for glowing skin 2 Tbsp of rolled oats, finely ground A little more than 1 quarter of the meat from 1 papaya, seeds scraped away, cut into cubes and either mashed with a fork or pulsed into a chunky mixture in the cuisinart. 3 heaping tbsp of greek yogurt 2 tbsp of honey 1. Mixed all the ingredients in a food processor for a few seconds. 2. Rub onto face using circular motions. 3. Let sit for minutes and then wash off. 4. Rinse your face with lukewarm water.

12 Tropical Fruit Mask...for anti-aging 2 Tbsp of rolled oats, finely ground 1 avocado 1 banana 1/2 papaya 1 kiwi 1. Mix all of the ingredients together using a blender or food processor. 2. Apply the mixture to your face and relax for 15 minutes. 3. Rinse your face and follow up with a facial moisturizer.

13 Chilean Grape Mask...for fatigued skin 1/2 cup red grapes A few tbsp flour 1. Crush the grapes (you can put it in a food processor if you like). 2. Mix a few tablespoons of flour with the crushed grapes to form a paste. 3. Apply the paste to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. 4. Rinse off the skin brightening face mask.
