2 TEST #1 Ladies Creative Technical Time: 4hrs A competition Creative Day Style will be displayed. Design should reflect OMC inspirations. Ideas and further information can be found on: Haircut: The style is of the competitor s own choice but should follow international trends The hair must be cut Color: You must color the hair All color techniques are allowed The choice of color is free but there must be a minimum of 2 colors No color sprays, gels, mousses or color markers are allowed Dressing, make-up, earrings or necklaces are NOT permitted Covering of face will NOT be allowed Note: The hairpieces for test 2 MUST be colored, cut width ways. NO REMOVAL OF LENGTH in test 1. They must be sewn/glued and presented lying flat on the table (minimum 2 - maximum 3). (This allows competitors if they wish to sub divide this into several pieces for colouring. However they will have to ensure that these are made into either two or three pieces). Blowdry: Competitors perform a blow-dry on wet hair No thermal tools except blowdryer can be used All finishing products are allowed except color sprays, gels,mousses or color markers Wigs and hairpieces are forbidden Page 2

5 TEST #2 Ladies Hair by Night with Hairpieces and Ornamentation Time: 1hr 30min The competitor will use the creative style from test #1 to transform into hair by night with the addition of hair wefts and ornamentation. Ideas and further information can be found on Blow dry style: This test is an elegant evening style The mannequin from test #1 remains on the floor unchanged Prior to start of competition, sages will check if there is a minimum of 2 hairpieces but a maximum of 3. The competitors must thoroughly brush the whole head when given the order Competitors can, if they wish, wet/wash, blow dry or style the hair. Only cleaning of the ends of the finished style can be done (no change of style of cut from test #1 is allowed). Hair wefts must be integrated in order to emphasize the fashionable evening character, but also in order to present a new longer appearing style (minimum 2 hairpieces/maximum 3) The hair wefts can be cut and trimmed in test #2 but cannot cover more than 50% of the whole head Ornaments made from hair or hair-like fibers are forbidden Competitors own hair ornaments and earrings must be placed during allotted time. Color, sparkle sprays, mousses and color markers cannot be used Dressing, make-up, and necklaces NOT permitted Page 5

8 TEST #3 Men s Fashion Cut with Color 3 Wishes Time: 2hrs and 45 mins This haircut and color is to reflect a fashion male hairstyle. There are 3 ballot boxes which represent the client s wishes (cut, color and texture). One criteria will be selected from each ballot box. This selection will take place prior to start of competition. This test must respect industry standards. Cut Color Texture Undercut Red Wave Shave area with tattoo Copper Curly Asymmetrical Element Gold Straight Textured Ends Blond Crimp Brown Black Grey Haircut: All cutting tools allowed The finish length of the haircut is free The haircut, the styling and color must be fashion trend not funky or avant garde and NOT REFLECT OMC All techniques are permitted Color All techniques may be used Color must be fashion trend, not funky or avant garde Covering of face will NOT be allowed Finished Style: All styling products are allowed (except color spray, gel, mousse or color markers) All styling tools are allowed Dressing, make-up, earrings and necklaces are NOT permitted Finished style is of Competitors own choice but it must reflect a masculine style Page 8

11 TEST #4 Men s Classical Sculptured Cut & Style (Bombage) Time: 1 hr 45 min This competition calls for sculpting an overall classic (square) shape. Necklines and sides are traditionally tapered and graduated. This is also classified as a formal cut, using very precise skills in haircutting. Hair color will not be changed. Haircut: The neckline is tapered to zero just above the collar line. All cutting tools are allowed except for clippers/trimmers. Finished Style: Only hand held dryers may be used No other thermal tools allowed All brushes and/or combs are permitted All styling products are permitted except for coloured spray, gel, mousse or colour markers Dressing, make-up, earrings and necklaces are NOT permitted MARKS Test #4 Men s Classical Sculptured Cut & Style (Bombage) 25points Description Extra Aspect Information Mark Infraction from project documents, competition rules or Contest Description, coaching, not stopping when time is called, dressing of the mannequin, not following safety rules, ect.
