1 Arbonne Cosmetics Class Outline This guide will help you with the flow of your cosmetics presentations. A cosmetics presentation begins and ends the same way as our Core Presentation. - PLEASE SEE CORE PRESENTATION SCRIPT FOR OPENING/CLOSING SUGGESTIONS. We recommend limiting the number of guests to NO MORE than 5 to ensure good service and proper closing with each. What To Bring: All docs, hand-outs, product you bring for a Core Presentation + supplies listed in our Makeup Workshop Packing List located in the Cosmetics Presentation folder. How To Print This Outline: You will print this document on 8.5 x 11 inch white cardstock. After printing you will cut each page in half horizontally between the two sections of text. Laminate & have spiral bound if desired, or just staple cards together. Set-Up: Set up around a kitchen table. Place your makeup kit at one end of the table along with tissue, q-tips, alcohol spray bottle, brushes, eye makeup remover, mirror, disposable mascara and lip applicators. At each guest s place: Face Chart and Find Your Perfect Arbonne Makeup Shades document. Pen Tissue Small mirror (find at Dollar Store) In center of table: RE9 Skincare Set, 4-6 Favorites (suggest items from Essentials) *Note: You will open and close the presentation using the same verbiage and tools as the Core Presentation.

2 PREP THE CANVAS Skincare 2 minutes Explain proper use of skincare and how it correlates to great makeup. Pass around RE9 + Genius while talking about it s benefits Verbiage: I can t let tonight go by without raving about our top selling anti-aging skincare system. It s full of vitamins like A, C, D & E and fights the daily attack from our environment. You must feel this! CREATE THE CANVAS Primer, Foundation, Concealer & Powder 6 minutes Makeup Primer - Pass around while explaining benefits. Creates smooth surface for your makeup to sit on. Your makeup will be stay put all day. Oil-free, non-clogging Contains great skin-loving ingredients.

3 Foundation - Explain how to choose a formula by determining their color, coverage and finish preference. Foundation Wardrobe - Consider having 1-3 different formulas to give yourself more options. They can be worn alone or combined for custom look. Color - Choose one that disappears into skin while looking at it from 2-3 feet away. Coverage - Choose either sheer (CC Cream), medium (Mineral Powder) or full (Liquid) coverage. Finish - Choose moist/dewy finish (CC Cream), natural finish (Mineral Powder), matte finish (Liquid). *NOTE: You will offer to color match them individually after you complete the presentation. Concealer - Explain benefits and demonstrate how to apply. Benefits: Lightweight formula won t look cakey, full coverage, ingredients to brighten and hydrate the skin. Color: Concealer should be ½ shade lighter than skintone to brighten the undereye. How To Apply: Using the Concealer brush, dab 3-5 dots of product in a triangle under the eye and down to the nose wing and upper cheek area. Blend first using the detail end of the brush getting product into each area including under the lower eyelash area and inner eye area toward the nose. Flip the brush to the blending side and Buff out the edges to soften the look. *NOTE: You may show them by pointing to your own eye when explaining. You will offer to color match individually after the presentation. Most people will be Light or Medium Neutral.

4 Powder - Set your foundation and concealer with powder for longer wear and a polished look. Choose coverage level: Sheer & matte (Sheer Pressed Powder) Sheer & brightening (Translucent Loose Setting Powder) Oily-prone skins (FC5 Oil- Absorbing Powder) COLOR THE CANVAS Bronzer, Blush 4 minutes Bronzer - Warm up the skin tone with a bronzer. Add definition by contouring if desired. Demonstrate How To Apply Glow On Bronzer: Using a large powder brush apply bronzer in the shape of a 3 to forehead, temple, cheek and jawbone. Demonstrate How To Use Sheer Glow Highlight Stick: Using a foundation brush or fingertips, apply the bronze end to forehead, cheeks or anywhere you want color. To apply highlighter, use foundation brush or fingertips to apply to tops of cheeks, eye lids or brows or lips. *NOTE: You will demonstrate by showing where to put the product on YOUR face (you may apply it or just show where to apply it). They can play with the product after your presentation.

5 Blush - Add a pop of color to the apple of the cheek to bring some dimension and interest to to face. Demonstrate using Taffeta: With angled blush brush tap gently in color, apply to smiling face on the fleshy part of the cheek in an upward motion. Have 2-3 of your favorites out on the table to show the variations. They will shop for their perfect color after the presentation. ALL ABOUT EYES Shadows, Liner & Brows 8 minutes Shadow Primer - Creamy, conditioning, water-resistant formula. Perfectly primes the eye for shadows. How To Apply: 2-3 dabs across eye area, blend with fingertip from lash to brow. Eye Shadows - High-pigmented, contains antioxidants, long-wearing, blend easily when used with Primer. How To Choose Colors: Create Basic Palette - Fill quad

6 One light, two medium, one dark color. Suggestions: Light - Fog (matte) or Slate (shimmer), Medium - Quartz, Pebble, Dawn, Bluff, Dark - Truffle, Sienna or Onyx How To Apply: The light color will go first all over the eye. Then, contour in the crease with a medium color. Finish will the dark color along the upper and/or lower lash and blend into the crease over the medium color. Create Accent Palette - Fill quad Choose trend colors based on preference. Suggestions: Opal, Amber, Solar, Forest, Aurora Eye Liner - Creamy, longwearing pencil, won t bleed or feather. How To Choose Color: Everyday colors for any eye look are Carob & Carbon. How To Apply: From outer edge of eye pull color toward the inner corner, making sure to keep the color in the bed of the lash. Use the angled brush to smudge edge. Mascara - Lengthening & thickening formula, long-wearing, non-smudging, packed with healthy ingredients for your lashes. Washes off easily with RE9 cleanser & water. How To Apply: Using the tip of the applicator, apply product from roots to tip using a back and forth motion, Up and Out. Repeat for additional length. *NOTE: The guests may try the mascara using a disposable wand after the presentation.

7 Brows - The brow frames the eye and shouldn t be overlooked. Pencil: Good for filling in holes or sparse brows. Choose a color that is one shade lighter than your brow hair color. Gray/light blonde - Light Light brown/red - Medium Very dark brown or black - Dark How To Apply - User stippling motion to place color into the areas needed. Use a downward motion, going with the growth direction of the hair. Use the built in brush tip to smooth and blend. Brow Cream: Can be used alone or with pencil. Good for fuller, thicker lashes. Gel controls hair, tint adds definition. LIPS 3 minutes Lips - Our lip collection includes hydrating & long-wearing lipstick, smudge-proof liner, moisturizing gloss. Show some of your favorite combinations. How To Choose Colors: Lip color is based on personal preference. Each client should pick 2-3 colors and try them all. Basic Neutral Lipsticks: Magnolia, Lily, Rose, Willow, Lotus Use Liners: Tulip or Peach Complementing Gloss: Linden, Primrose, Mallow, Anise, Calla

8 Reds: Hibiscus, Gladiola, Poppy Use Liners: Fuchsia, Pomegranate Complementing Gloss: Cardinal, Cosmos, Mimosa Brights: Peony, Guava, Orchid, Zinnia Use Liners: Posey, Fuchsia Complementing Gloss: Mimosa, Larkspur Darks: Aster, Dahlia Use Liners: Berry Complementing Gloss: Hyacinth, Hazel, Anise Now we are ready to PLAY! Open up your makeup box, pull out some things in the center of the table. Encourage guests to dive in and try some colors. Circle the table and offer input and help where needed. Each guest may try their own colors - YOU don t need to do everyone s makeup! You are there to assist. Remember to have music playing, offer to fill drinks or get food for the guests. They need to be having FUN!

9 CLOSING TIPS After you close using our 3 Ways To Win handout and share the special booking offer, hand out a catalog, client service card, order form. Ask them to fill out the client service card right away. Let them know that you want to spend a few minutes with each of them jotting down the best colors for them on their Your Perfect Arbonne Makeup Shades document. They are welcome to keep it for future reference. Make sure to be mindful of the time you spend with each person. You will lose clients if you take too long with each guest. Let the group know what time you will be packing up. Your presentation shouldn t be any longer than 3 hours from beginning to end. Resist the temptation to become a makeup artist. Most people don t see themselves in that role and it will be harder for you to prospect if they think you are doing something they could never do. The point of the evening is to introduce the guests to our company & products, with an emphasis on the cosmetics. You have the same goals as always: 1. Find a business partner. 2. Book more presentations. 3. Find Preferred Clients.
