4 Signature Rituals Journey to India 3 hour spa ritual (Ayurveda massage, hot herbal pouch therapy, padabhyanga, marma therapy of face, Indian scalp massage, bathing ritual) Inspired by the ancient healing of Ayurvedic practices, this ritual treats you with a traditional Ayurveda massage along with herbal pouch therapy to ease muscle tension and stiffness. Padabhyanga, an Indian foot massage will follow to open the vital energy points of the feet and lower legs. You will then experience a marma therapy of the face and a calming Indian scalp massage to restore mind and body balance. Your journey concludes with a relaxing bathing ritual. Ultimate rejuvenation 2 hour spa ritual (Lime and pink ginger root body scrub, hot lava shell massage, Indian foot therapy) This rejuvenating combination of therapies begins with a gentle body scrub made of lime and pink ginger root which stimulates circulation and helps to detoxify and smoothen the skin. Lime and pink ginger body exfoliation 90 minutes Lime and freshly grated ginger, a warming mix used in Ayurvedic medicine to increase body temperature, is used to exfoliate your entire body. Pink ginger is excellent for toning and revitalising the skin while sweet lime and Ayurvedic herbs make a wonderful effective body scrub. A soothing full body massage to renew the senses and rejuvenate your spirit completes this therapy. Frangipani body wrap 90 minutes Exotic and fragrant flowers of frangipani have properties which nourish, cleanse and moisturise the skin. 12 AYURVEDa inspired rituals Abhyanga 75 minutes A traditional Indian massage using a combination of soothing and symmetrical long strokes to regulate the circulatory and nervous systems of the body. The warm herbal oil chosen according to your body type balances the doshas. A steam bath is recommended following this massage. Hot herbal poultice 60 minutes This therapeutic massage begins with an application of warm oil specific to your dosha. A warm herbal fomentation is applied to relax the muscles while stimulating circulation and energy flow. The effect of heat and herbs helps to reduce aches and pains, increase lymphatic drainage and condition the skin, leaving you refreshed and relaxed. Shiroabhyanga 45 minutes Marma points of the shoulders, neck, head and face are stimulated to calm and balance your entire body. Padabhyanga 60 minutes This Ayurvedic reflexology is an ancient massage for the sole which focuses on marma points of the feet and lower legs. This therapy incorporates the use of a kasa bowl which is warmed in oil resulting in a more effective therapy as the metal interacts with the energy force of the body. Shirodhara 60 minutes Shirodhara is an ancient Indian therapy using warm, medicated oils which flow from a specially designed copper vessel. Consult our therapists who will be pleased to advise you on a therapy that suits your individual needs. Cellular phones and electronic devices must be switched off. Enjoy a relaxing shower before your therapy. Arrive at the spa reception 10 minutes prior to your therapy in order to change and prepare yourself. Gentlemen who are having a facial are advised to shave at least 3 hours before their therapy. Guests with high blood pressure, heart condition or other medical complications and ladies who are pregnant should consult their doctor before scheduling an appointment for spa therapies. Home spa - Most of the body and skin care products that we use in our therapies are available for purchase.
