1 SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE GEO RANGE OF PRODUCTS QUALITY The GEO products have been formulated to enable the general consumer to have the benefit of essential oils in a user-friendly product. Care is taken that only high quality ingredients are used. VEGETABLE BASED Ingredients of vegetable origin are far more compatible with human skin, than synthetic ingredients and ingredients of animal origin. Oils from natural sources such as Palm Kernel, Babassu and Almond oil are used in these products. ESSENTIAL OILS Specially selected essential oils have been used in the products to achieve different effects. Essential oils are highly concentrated substances extracted from various parts of aromatic plants and trees. Due to their tiny molecular structure, essential oils applied to the skin can be absorbed into the bloodstream. They also reach the blood as a result of the aromatic molecules being inhaled. Once in the bloodstream the aromatic molecules interact with the body s chemistry. FRAGRANCE Synthetic fragrances are a major cause of skin irritation. Furthermore, these synthetic chemicals are foreign to the body and can affect our health in many different ways. GEO products are all free from synthetic fragrances; the fragrance of the GEO products is a direct result of the essential oils used. COLOURANT FREE Synthetic colors accumulate on the skin and can cause long-term sensitization especially in people predisposed to allergies. GEO products are completely color free! PRESERVATIVES AND PACKAGING Essential oils are natural preservatives. Therefore, very small amounts of preservative are necessary to ensure the safety and shelf life of our products. GEO products do not contain parabens.

In addition, all tests are carried out on humans! ph FACTOR The GEO products are mildly acidic in nature so that the skin s natural acidic mantle is not diminished. Alkaline products with a ph factor above 7 (such as some soap bars) can strip the skin of protective oils. SKIN TYPES The GEO skin care range caters for all skin types. The GEO range is suitable for sensitive skin, because the products contain no harsh ingredients that could irritate skin. All the GEO products are free from synthetic fragrance, colorants and alcohol. Often, the products you use determine skin type. It is estimated that only 15% of people have truly sensitive skin. Hormonal changes, diet, extreme weather, stress, pollution and smoking all play a vital part in determining skin type. Provided you use appropriate skin care, all of us could have near perfect skin. GEO skin care products are designed to look after your whole person, not only the skin on your face. Inner health and beauty are always mirrored in a beautiful complexion. The essential oils in all our products, aid in keeping the skin as beautiful and clear as it was meant to be. The oils have nourishing and healing properties, assisting the skin in its natural regenerating process and not interfering in any way. TEENAGE OR YOUNG, PROBLEM SKIN A young skin produces enough sebum to maintain moisture and elasticity. Acne breakouts occur mainly because of stress, hormonal changes, a faulty diet or harsh/ wrong products. Try not to touch your face and make sure your hands are clean when you do! Increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat, skinless poultry and nuts. We recommend: Face Wash Gel Toner Oil Free Moisturiser Facial Scrub OILY SKIN Sebaceous glands are overactive. It is important to cleanse such skin carefully with a GEO gel cleanser. Also, use a GEO oil-free moisturizer. Skin is often more oily prior to menstruation, due to hormonal changes and it might be a good idea to switch to a GEO oil-free moisturizer for that period if you have a combination skin.

3 We recommend: Gel Cleanser Gel Toner Oil Free Moisturiser Facial Scrub Eye Gel NORMAL AND COMBINATION/ DRY SKIN Dry areas around cheeks, neck and eyes, an oily T on the forehead, nose and chin. This is the most common skin type. It is important to use mild skincare preparations such as the GEO range. Cleanse twice daily with our cream cleanser. If the T panel is very oily, alternate between the GEO oil-free moisturizer and the GEO moisturizer for combination skin. We recommend: Cream Cleanser Gel Toner Moisturizer for Combination/ Dry Skin Enriched Night Cream (for the dry areas) Facial Scrub Masque Azulene Eye Gel MATURE SKIN Mature skin is characterized by dry skin with less elasticity. The activities of the sebaceous glands slow down with age. Dry skins lack the ability to retain moisture effectively; GEO products help to preserve this moisture-retaining barrier. Cleanse with a gentle cleanser and use a toner with rosewater. The moisturizer must be rich, but easily absorbed. It is important to use gentle exfoliators and a special night care preparation. 4 GEO HAIR CARE SHAMPOO All the GEO shampoos are ph balanced and are very gentle. None of the ingredients will irritate or dry out the scalp. The essential oils permeate the skin and nourish the hair in the follicle. Concentrations of essential oils are higher than in other products, because the hair is rinsed immediately. The shampoos leave no layer on the hair, they rinse out easily and thoroughly. This results in healthier, stronger and shiny hair. NB: the oils in the shampoos and conditioners will discourage head lice! CONDITIONER The conditioners in the GEO range contain only vegetable derivatives, most commercial conditioners contain animal fat. GEO uses an extract from the cotton plant. Shampoo and conditioner should be used together, as the ph factor has been balanced in the formulation of both products. The conditioners will not leave hair flat; rather they will provide nourishment for good-looking, healthy hair. NB: the oils in the shampoos and conditioners will discourage hair lice!

Contains the extracts witch hazel for astringency and allantoin for its soothing and healing properties. ph 3.5 MOISTURIZER FOR COMBINATION/ DRY SKIN Normal, Combination, Dry skin. MOISTURISER FOR MATURE SKIN Recommended for drier skin types. Contains double the oil content of the combination, dry skin moisturizer, whilst Sweet Almond oil provides additional nourishment. ph OIL FREE MOISTURISER Oily and problem skin A highly versatile water based product. Oil free, apart from the essential oils. Can be used to soothe allergic skin conditions. Leaves the skin feeling cool and refreshed without an oily residue. ph 6.0 ENRICHED NIGHT CREAM Combination, mature, dry and sun-damaged skin. Enriched with super refined almond oil. Softens and nourishes. Leaves skin soft and improves texture with frequent use. FACIAL SCRUB All skin types. Contains fine apricot kernel granules to remove dead, dull surface cells. Apply with face wash, gel cleanser, or cream cleanser ph MASQUE AZULENE Sensitive, mature, dry and sun-damaged skin. A luxurious creamy emulsion with chamomile and calendula to condition and hydrate the skin. Azulene is a very sought after component for skin preparations due to its soothing, regenerating and rejuvenating qualities. It is a component found in Cape Chamomile oil, which lends it its distinctive blue colour.

A white cream of medium thickness, which is quickly and totally absorbed by the skin. The combination of essential oils used is particularly soothing.

ANTI CELLULITE GEL Use on orange peel areas such as hips, thighs and buttocks. A smooth gel, which contains active essential oils of Grapefruit, Juniper, Geranium and Lavandin. These essential oils are all particularly cleansing, detoxifying, and effective for water retention relief and cellulite reduction. Please remember that a healthy eating plan and an exercise routine should be followed. FIRST AID For minor bruises, cuts or burns. A synergy of essential oils that soothes, calms and heals. FYNBOS AROMATIC SPRAY A fragrant, energizing water-based mist that can be used in the home or car. May feel sticky for while.
