5 DR. CARY D. NELSON Dr. Cary D. Nelson is a board certifi ed family practitioner, and is currently the Medical Director at Skinetics in the City of Orange. A Southern California native, Dr. Nelson earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and studied medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College; he completed his residency training at the USC-PIH Family Practice Program in 2005, serving as co-chief resident. Dr. Nelson has studied under the comprehensive tutelage of R. Stephen Mulholland, M.D. and Patrick Bitter Jr., M.D., two pioneers in the fotofacial technique. Dr. Nelson is also certifi ed in Botox Cosmetic, multiple dermal fi llers (Juvéderm ) and in facial volumizers (Radiesse ). Furthermore, he specializes in IPL and various laser techniques for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction.
