1 AMINAT -G PRESERVATIVE AND ACTIVE ANTIMICRBIAL FR CSMETICS INCI name: Glycerin and Ethyl Lauroyl Arginate HCl CMPSITIN AMINAT -G is based on a 20% solution of LAE (Ethyl lauroyl arginate monohydrochloride, E- 243) in glycerin. AMINAT -G is a multifunctional product that can be used by personal care formulators as a preservative in creams, lotions, body milks, hair conditioners and as an active compound in soaps, antidandruff shampoos, deodorants and oral care. Additionally, it can provide smoothness to skin and hair because of its cationic nature. AMINAT -G can be used in formulations certified ECCERT, CSMS and Natrue, thanks to the natural origin of glycerin and to LAE (molecule developed and synthesized by the Lamirsa Group) Active ingredient: N α -lauroyl-l-arginine, ethyl ester monohydrochloride (LAE ). 2 SPECTRUM F ACTIVITY AMINAT -G has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity covering bacteria, moulds and yeasts, as shown Table I. The activity of AMINAT -G is not ph dependent. 3 FRMULATIN AMINAT -G is easy to incorporate into personal care formulations as it is a liquid. It may be added in the emulsion at any stage of the manufacturing process, in the aqueous phase, in the oil phase, during emulsification or after cooling. AMINAT -G can lose activity in systems with a high content of anionic surfactants or anionic thickeners such as carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan gum, bentonite or carbomer. Preservative in hair and skin care products Microbiological studies have shown that AMINAT -G is an effective preservative in concentrations of % in all kinds of formulations without a large amount of anionic raw materials. - Shampoos - Hair conditioners - Sunscreens - Body milks - Make up removing liquids and milks - Facial products Due to its cationic surfactant properties, LAE provides additional smoothness to hair and skin and improves the skin natural defense against pathogens, besides an excellent formula preservation. Active ingredient in deodorant cosmetics AMINAT -G may be used as an active ingredient in non-spray deodorant cosmetic products with or without aluminum salts. Recommended application rate: From 0.5% to 4%.

4 Active ingredient in antidandruff formulations AMINAT -G can be used as an active ingredient in antidandruff shampoos and conditioners. In vivo tests demonstrate good activity, and AMINAT -G could be a green substitute of Znpyrithione. Recommended dosage: from 1% to 4% of AMINAT -G. Active ingredient in ral Care products AMINAT -G is a very effective antibacterial in mouthwashes. It shows a remarkable antiattachment effect for microbes on the tooth surface. The antiplaque effect of LAE is comparable to that of chlorhexidine digluconate. Recommended dosage: from 1% to 4% of AMINAT -G. LAE REGISTRATIN/APPRVAL Notified as new chemical compound for cosmetic products, according to the EU Directive 67/548 EEC. Regulation (EC) Nº 1907/2006 (REACH). Registration number: Approval in the EU as a preservative for cosmetics in accordance with EU Directive 76/768 EEC of 1st February 2010 (Commission Directive 2010/3/EU) replaced by Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 by amended by Regulation (EU) No 344/ % natural, certified by ECCERT. Derived 100% natural, certified by NaTrue. Considered safe for use as a preservative in mouthwashes at a maximum concentration of 0.15 % w/w (not to be used for children under 10 years old), according to Regulation (EU) 2016/1121 of 11 July 2016 amending Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products. Specific maximum doses allowed for each particular application depending on countries are available upon request.

5 TXICITY AND LABELLING AMINAT -G is extremely mild for humans and for the environment, as Table II shows. STRAGE AND SHELF LIFE We recommend to store between 4-30ºC or 39-86ºF. Avoid temperatures above 30ºC or 86ºF. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool place, protected from exposure to direct sunlight. Under such conditions, the shelf life of the product is 18 months.
