2 A Dazzling Success The highly anticipated second edition of in-cosmetics Korea 2016 attracted 6,152 unique attendees with a 97% increase in visitors numbers. in-cosmetics Korea was particularly popular domestically, with more than 5,300 Korean visitors searching for innovative ingredients and formulations from 219 exhibitors, 34% of which were first-time exhibitors. However, it was the global appeal of the event that stole the headlines, with a dramatic 470% rise in international visitors (13% of the total) from China, Thailand and Japan in particular. This year s 100% free educational programme provided comprehensive knowledge grouped into three themes: Cosmetic Science & Technology, Innovation and Marketing Trends & Regulations. The theatres were packed and, in many cases, standing room only. in-cosmetics Korea 2017 will take place at Coex, Seoul from June 2017, extending to a 3-day event by popular demand. Visitors - Key Statistics Unique visitor attendance: 6,152 (97%+ vs 2015) Day 1: 3,797 (62%) Day 2: 2,355 (38%) Total (including re-visits): 7,010 Korean visitors: 87% International visitors: 13% First-time visitors We welcomed hundreds of guests to our stand. We received many visitors from Korea but also from other important Asian markets. In our seminar session, we presented to a standing room only crowd, many of whom visited our stand requesting samples and more information.
