Tests comparing it with other solvating oil components like C12-15 Alkyl Benzoates show a comparable performance, with a much better sensorial profile. Particularly the spreadability of the formulation often a problem in products with high SPF is improved significantly. These properties make Dermofeel sensolv also an ideal choice for colour cosmetics or as a basic oil in skin care products. Its low viscosity and surface tension contribute to improve the spreadability of formulations. In combination with the solvating and dispersing qualities, Dermofeel sensolv is an ideal oil for sun care products and colour cosmetics while its silicone-like sensorial profile and excellent skin compatibility makes it perfectly suitable for baby care or cleansing formulations. 4 Dermofeel Toco 70 (INCI: Tocopherol) is a mixture of Tocopherols from natural origin, extracted from Soy Bean oil and dissolved in Sunflower oil. Tocopherols (Vitamin E) are natural antioxidants that are used in cosmetic formulations to prevent the oxidation of other ingredients. The content of Tocopherols is larger than 70%, the product is PCR-negative. Recommended use level: % Dermofeel viscolid (INCI: Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) is a natural oil thickener supplied in a powder format with a melting point of approx. 60 C. It is used to convert liquid oils into soft, creamy textures. The resulting product is an elegant soft oil paste that is easily applied on the skin without smearing and dripping. There is no influence on the sensorial profile of the oils which makes it ideal for massage oils. Dermofeel viscolid has been tested with various oils and is compatible with plant oils as well as ester oils, mineral oil and silicones. The thickening effect is based on a delicate network of fine lipid crystals that, upon contact with the skin, melt and form a liquid phase with the sensorial profile of the oil mixture used. Kahai Oil (INCI: Caryodendron orinocense Nut Oil) is a 100% natural anti-ageing oil, extracted by cold pressing the nuts of the Cacay tree. It has a high penetration capability, a dry skin feel, and a mild nutty scent, which fades quickly. Its high content of natural Vitamin E, F & Retinol nourishes, softens and repairs damaged skin making it an ideal choice for shaving oils and after shave creams. Kahai Oil revitalises the skins radiance, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and gives it a long lasting hydration. Kahai Oil contains 50% more Vitamin E and twice the amount of Linoleic Acid than Argan oil and it has 3 times more Retinol than Rose Hip Oil. Recommended use level: Various LNST 98 (INCI: Caprylic/Capric/Succinic Triglyceride (and) Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil (and) Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil (and) Tocopheryl Acetate) is a composition rich in Essential Fatty acids, combining the benefits of natural botanical oils (Wheatgerm and Sesame Seed oil) and Vitamin E, for a perfect protection from dehydration and inflammation mechanisms. Recommended use level: 0.5 5% Recommended use level: 2-10% INKA OMEGA OIL MultiSal Menthol 30 (INCI: Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil). Traditionally used to heal and relieve muscle and rheumatic pains by rubbing the oil directly onto the body. In skin care, INKA OMEGA OIL reduces the Trans Epidermal Water Loss, improves the barrier function of the skin, normalises the keratinisation process, prevents DNA damage and restores skin softness. Recommended use level: 1-10% INOXAN 583 (INCI: Glyceryl Oleate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Citric Acid) is an exclusive mix of Ascorbyl Palmitate and dl-alpha-tocopherol in Glyceryl Oleate to be used readily as a vitamin antioxidant in all oil-based cosmetic products. INOXAN 583 uses the synergistic activity of Ascorbyl Palmitate and alpha-tocopherol to delay oxidation and rancid changes in oils and fats and hence can be used to protect oily based products from going off prematurely. Recommended use level: % (Sodium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Menthol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Hydrated Silica). MultiSal Menthol is specifically designed for anhydrous applications that require a higher temperature in processing, for instance soap bars or solid AP sticks. Menthol evaporates at typical processing temperatures (around 80 C).The consequences of this are twofold: 1. Menthol vapor is irritating to eyes and lungs, thus filling the production environment with it is unsafe; 2. Menthol is lost, either reducing the concentration in the final product, or making it necessary to use more to make it the right concentration. MultiSal Menthol protects the active from evaporation, even under elevated temperatures (up to 160 C). Additionally menthol has a natural, medicinal odor that may be undesirable for certain applications. MultiSal Menthol reduces the unpleasant menthol odor making it more satisfying to the consumer. Suitable for anhydrous applications such as lotions, body powders, foot care, lip care, analgesics, soap bars, and deodorant sticks. 6 Specifeel EM (INCI: Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, C12-C13 Alkyl Lactate).
