At VINE Academy, we believe core fundamentals are the most important training for new students of PMU. Our courses are taught in an engaging, challenging and progressive training environment. 3 MODULE I: EYEBROWS COURSE OVERVIEW Our PMU & Microblading Fundamental Training course is a 50-hour program divided into at-home pre-study(5 hours), two three-day classroom modules (25 hours), and post-graduation practical experience (20 hours). All demonstrations on live models are performed by resident expert Dawn Hunter, VINE founder, artist and instructor. We will teach you the latest industry techniques to make sure you get it right every time, including: Identifying skin undertones Choosing the right makeup colors & pigments Specialized color training for lips Blue/pink color correction Basic two-color brows

7 DETAIL TRAINING A client or nonprofessional can usually tell when a design looks right, but it s a makeup artist s job to know it looks right. Dawn is originally from California and has studied with the best of the best in her home state and here in Washington. Dawn is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals. She has been perfecting the art of micro-pigmentation for over eight years. Dawn brings many years of experience both applying and teaching permanent make-up. Dawn also has experience as the owner and operator of a medical spa, where she applied permanent cosmetics alongside a plastic surgeon. We also have expert plastic surgeon Dr. David Santos on our team as a specialized consultant. Dr. Santos is a board member of the Seattle FACE Foundation, founded by VINE Studios. Dr. Santos is the former Medical Director for Lifestyle Lift and a member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He currently practices in Bellevue, Washington. Together, Dr. Santos and Dawn Hunter are board members of the International FACE Foundation (IFF) that just launched this year, a non-profit organization treating veterans and other victims of facial trauma and burns. IFF is currently expanding to cover areola re-pigmentation for breast cancer survivors.
