Creating a Legacy Max Buten For longtime supporter and Associate member Max Buten, the decision to donate his iconic 1917 I Want You for U.S. Army poster to the museum was a simple one. The museum matters to me I ve been going there all my life, said Buten. It s a proud moment to know that something associated with my name will be part of the Museum s collection, preserved, protected, and shared with future generations.
