1 This report contains statistical information on reported crime and law enforcement activity, and comparisons through the same period last year. Crime rates are based on the Average Daily Population for the parks. Average Daily Population is determined by dividing total visitation by the number of days in the reporting period. All figures are preliminary. Table 1 shows the number of reported Index Crimes and the Index Crime Rate for the current period and the same period last year. Crime Index offenses include all Part One crimes and arson. Violent crimes include all crimes of violence against persons. Table 1.
