5 THE VENUE Hotel Petit Palace Santa Bárbara. The fair will take place in the Hotel Petit Palace Santa Bárbara, located on 10 Plaza Santa Bárbara, between Alonso Martínez metro station and the Chueca neighbourhood. This four-star boutique hotel was built in 1874 as a residence for the Marquis of Quintanar and his family, where they lived up until the mid-20th century.

6 THE VENUE Hotel Petit Palace Santa Bárbara. The rooms of the Santa Bárbara are spacious and come equipped with WiFi, a laptop computer and a flat-screen TV. In addition to the hotel rooms, Hybrid will also be utilising the hotel's function rooms for its programme of activities. The hotel has a recently renovated restaurant and terrace.

7 OBJECTIVES To be the most accessible and alternative art fair on the Madrid circuit. To bring the freshest work of emerging artists in unconventional exhibition spaces. To create a fun and welcoming atmosphere which permits visitors to view and purchase the perfect piece of art for them.

We expect over 2000 visitors per day Madrid Art Week attracts people from all over the world, offering a full programme of art events, including Spain s world famous contemporary art fair, ARCO. Hybrid is located in the vibrant core of Madrid, surrounded by the lively areas of Malasaña and Chueca. We are just a few minutes walk away from JUSTMAD art fair and Urvanity, 15 minutes walk from Drawing Room and Art Madrid.

12 HYBRID IS ALSO A FESTIVAL IN SEPTEMBER Hybrid made its first appearance in September 2016 as the first festival of alternative art spaces in Spain. Hybrid's mission is to promote a vibrant, visible and connected independent arts community through producing a 10 days multi venue festival with dozens of art exhibitions and events happening all over Madrid. To navigate around the diverse range of art spaces, Hybrid offers a map that can be found in different locations throughout the city. Following a phenomenally successful inaugural year, Hybrid Festival returned even bigger in 2017 with more alternative art spaces taking part. 13 HYBRID'S FIRST EDITION AS AN ART FAIR On February 2017, Hybrid changed its format to fit in with the panorama of ARCO satellite festivals. Following on from the philosophy of Hybrid Festival, the fair took place in an alternative exhibition space in the rooms of a hotel and also hosted a transdisciplinary programme of activities with music and live performances. We had more than 5 thousand attendees, 133 news appearances and a diverse programme of activities, which gave the event a lively and dynamic atmosphere.
