2 Saturday 21 Apri 2018 Orton Square and Cutura Quarter Ceebrate St. George with free activities on Orton Square, Cutura Quarter and St. George s Area of Leicester. Orton Square 12noon Opening performance with Leicester Morris Men 12.30pm Wecome speech with The Lord Mayor of Leicester 12.35pm: Bi Brookman s fun show Expect madcap music and mirth, songs and stories based on St. George and the Dragon. 1pm: The Gruffao With his terribe tusks and caws, knobby knees, green wart on the end of his nose and purpe spikes a over his back, The Gruffao wi be making a persona appearance. 1pm: Baze the Dragon This magnificent friendy beast stands at 7 feet ta and is 13 feet wide, which means he' instanty capture your attention aong with his heper Pixie. 1.30pm: Maypoe dancing A fun opportunity to take part in this traditiona dance. Join in with the experienced dancers and take a turn around the maypoe. 2pm: Leicester Morris Men Traditiona dances for St. George with the ever popuar Leicester Morris Men. 2.30pm: Knights & princesses parade with Syvesta The Jester Join the parade of knights and princesses around Orton Square, ed by Syvesta the Leicester Jester. There wi be prizes for the best costumes. To enter pease go to Information point on Orton Square by 2.15pm. 2.50pm: Parade prize giving and dragon trai prize draw 3pm: The Gruffao 3pm: Baze the Dragon 3.30pm: Maypoe dancing A fina chance to dance around the maypoe. 4pm 5pm: Bi Brookman s fun show & fok dancing finae Take part in a mass fok dance with a of the days characters, performers and musicians for a rousing finae.

Leicester Market St. George Fights the Dragon Monday 23 Apri 11am & 1pm Come to Leicester Market to cheer on St. George as he rescues a damse in distress from the dastardy dragon.
