The West Virginia Tattoo Expo will be big. We booked this venue with the Event Center and Waterfront Hotel because they are side by side. The convenience and state of the art design along with massive parking makes this the perfect location. Morgantown is a city that has appeal for everyone. It can be the party of a lifetime, or it can be the ideal quiet trip. That is up to you. We want you to come and enjoy the Expo. 8 2013 WEST VIRGINIA TATTOO EXPO October 11, 12 & 13, 2013 ARTIST REGISTRATION The Morgantown Event Center Morgantown, WV Single Booth - $ Double Booth - $ EVENT CENTER ACCESS FOR ARTISTS Set up for Friday, October 11 from 8am-2pm Friday, October 11 at 8am (opens to the public at 2pm) Saturday, October 12 at 10am (opens to the public at 12noon) Sunday, October 13 at 10am (opens to the public at 12noon) Set up is scheduled for Friday, October 11 between 8am and 2pm. All Artists must be set up and be ready to work by 2pm. No set up will be permitted after the opening of the show and West Virginia Tattoo Expo reserves the right to reassign booth space with no refund if Artist has not loaded in prior to show opening. PARKING During designated set up Artists may temporarily park at the loading dock. During all show hours Artist are required to park in The Waterfront Hotel Parking Garage or the Morgantown Event Center Parking Garage. BOOTH All booths will be assigned in advance on a first come, first serve basis upon completion of the Artist Registration form and full payment is received. Exhibitor shall not sublet any part of the booth space assigned without prior written consent from WVTE. Each booth is 8X10 and includes 1-8 high back drape with 2-3 high drapes, 1-8 skirted table, 1-8 nonskirted table, 4- folding chairs, 1- waste basket, 1-1 quart disposable sharps container, 1- power strip, 1 gallon distilled water, 2- Artist lanyards (non transferable), and a website listing on with link to your website. All Artists are responsible for bringing their own equipment including an autoclave (if necessary) as well as furnishing including work lighting, extension cords, consent/release forms, aftercare instructions, etc. The Morgantown Event Center s Business Center is located upstairs with additional copiers, fax machines, internet access, etc. for a fee. Do not leave valuables in your booth. Although Exhibit Halls are securely locked and monitored by overnight security, West Virginia Tattoo Expo cannot be held responsible for any items left in your booth at any point. WORK AREA NO ONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE CAN BE TATTOOED OR PIERCED -- NO EXCEPTIONS. The Monongalia County Health Department will be on site at all times and will expect to see barriers in all tattoo booths. Tattoos that are fresh can cause a threat of cross-contamination. Please keep everyone clean and safe. All tattoos done at the expo must be bandaged before customer leaves the booth. Bandages may be removed to enter the tattoo contests but should only be done with the help of the artist. All needles must be single use, autoclaved, dated, and disposed of in the provided sharps container. Artists bringing an autoclave must have recent spore testing within the last 60 days made available. Body piercing of genitals or nipples must be screened from public view. You are obligated to bring the screen yourself as it is not included with your booth fee. Also, body piercers must adhere to all guidelines set forth by the Monongalia County Health Department. Aftercare instructions must be made available to all clients.

9 PROPER REMOVAL OF WASTE Needles are ONLY to be put in sharps container. If this policy is not practiced the shop and/or individual artist are subject to fines by the Monongalia County Health Department and will be asked to leave the event without refund. The trash cans provided will be emptied every night. Please place all trash you wish removed in the trash can. LICENSING The Monongalia County Health Department requires every tattoo artist and/or body piercer to obtain a temporary license. Individuals submitting the appropriate tattooing and/or body piercing license application to include: 1. Current licensing or registration from another acceptable state, county or municipal authority or health agency authorizing showing individual or shop is licensed for tattoos and/or body piercing. 2. Show evidence of compliance with: OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Standards *There are no other options that are acceptable. If an individual does not apply for and obtain all of the necessary licensing and paperwork they will not be able to tattoo at the West Virginia Tattoo Expo. This is non negotiable and is not up for interpretation or discussion. Please see the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources Tattoo Studios License Application for ALL licensing requirements at The $ fee for the license and is made out directly to the Monongalia County Health Department via U.S. money orders only. The temporary licensing fee is separate from the cost of the Artist booth space and is not an extension of West Virginia Tattoo Expo in any way. *The $ is per booth. For example, if you purchase a double booth the fee covers everyone in the booth BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL UNDER THE SAME SHOP!!! Likewise artists sharing a booth split can split the fee BECAUSE YOU ARE FROM THE SAME SHOP!!! Everyone or every shop must obtain a West Virginia Business permit for $ The form must be submitted to the State of West Virginia prior to the event. We can send it to you upon request. WRISTBANDS Artists must wear issued wristband at all times as it allows access to the Artist Copy Station as well as Exhibit Hall during non public hours. Anyone in Exhibit Hall without a wristband during show hours will be removed by security. Wristbands are non transferable and must be purchased again if lost. Additional laminates are available for $30.00 each and can be purchased either in advance or upon arrival. COPY STATION A complimentary copy area with two (2) digital copiers and two (2) thermal fax machines will be set up on site. Other supplies i.e. bandages, tape, paper towels, A&D ointment, gloves, etc. will be available on site at a cost. ADDITIONAL DETAILS Exhibitor and its agents, employees and representatives will at all times comply with all federal, state, county, civic, and local laws and ordinances. Exhibitor shall be responsible for obtaining any and all licenses, permits or approvals required under state and local laws applicable to exhibitor s particular activity. The exhibitor agrees to hold harmless West Virginia Tattoo Expo, C Productions, LLC, Morgantown Event Center and any agent, employee or representative affiliated with of any and all types of liability, loss, damage, injury, accidents, fire, theft, war, acts of terrorism, natural disasters or acts of God. West Virginia Tattoo Expo makes no representation or warranty regarding the success of the event, including, but not limited to, attendance, exhibitor participation, weather, or success of exhibitor s booth.
