14 Employment of People with Disablities & Autism The readymade garment (RMG) industry which created employment for millions of people in Bangladesh has also become a blessing for many disabled. Several garment factories has offered jobs to disabled people ensuring work environment conducive to their style. A single garment unit in the country namely Keya Composite has employed at least one thousand hearing impaired workers. BGMEA has also promised to create job opportunities for autistic people in the RMG sector.
