4 Lane Bryant Standardized Hanger Program All hanging purchase orders are required to use Lane Bryant standard hangers. It is imperative that all of our hanging merchandise (Mode 1) be rack ready when shipped. This will help expedite the merchandise through our distribution center and on to the selling floor. Authorization to use non-standard hangers must be approved by Merchandise Operations prior to shipping of merchandise. All vendors will be responsible for the purchasing, stocking and payment of the Lane Bryant-approved hangers. Failure to use Lane Bryant standard hangers will result in refusal or a charge back. Swimwear vendors are required to use the bottom hanger for both one- and twopiece styles. Plus size garments with scoop necks must be secured to the hangers using hanger loops. Plus size bottoms must be folded so the price ticket is visible in front. Merchandise shipped one piece per bundle is required to use Lane Bryant standardized hangers. Merchandise must be identified by size through the use of color-coded paper rings on the neck of the hanger. Failure to properly identify size will result in a chargeback. The use of straight pins, metal or plastic clips to secure garments is prohibited and will result in a charge back. Each division requires different styles and colors for its hanging program. Please see the next page for Lane Bryant s suppliers addresses and telephone numbers. When Intimate Apparel hangers are packed in a polybag the entire hanger must be packed inside the polybag. No protruding hooks are permitted.

5 Lane Bryant Jackets and Mode 3 Fold Lay the jacket flat with the front on the table. Take the left arm and fold to the right side then fold back down towards the hem. Repeat to the right side Fold the bottom of the jacket upwards to the top. 5. Turn the jacket over. 5.

6 Lane Bryant Jackets and Mode 4 Fold Lay the jacket flat with the front on the table. Fold it in half with the back on the outside. Take top arm and fold it towards the hem. Turn garment over and fold other arm towards the hem..

7 Lane Bryant Dresses Mode 3 Fold Lay the dress flat with the front on the table. Fold the sleeves and sides of garment towards the center. Note: width should be 12 or less. Take the left arm and fold to the right side, folding down the seams towards the center back. For long sleeve dresses fold the left sleeve back towards the left shoulder. Repeat for right side For dresses over 38 fold the bottom of the dress approximately 1/3 of the way up towards the top of the dress, as shown, and proceed to step 5. For dresses under 38 fold the bottom of the dress approximately 1/2 the way up towards the top of the dress and skip to step Fold the bottom of the dress approximately 2/3 of the way up towards the top of the dress Fold the bottom of the dress to the top of the dress. Length after this fold should be 19 or less Turn the dress over.

8 Lane Bryant Dresses Mode 4 Fold Lay the dress flat with the front on the table. Fold the sleeves along seams towards the center. Fold the dress in half, with the back on the inside. Fold the bottom up to just below the collar Turn the dress over.

10 Lane Bryant and Cacique Long Sleeve Tops Mode 3 Fold Lay the top flat with the front on the table. Center the board on the top. Take the left sleeve and fold to the right side of the garment. Take the right sleeve and fold to the left side of the garment. Fold in the left side of the garment to the right side, then fold in the right side to the left side Fold the bottom of the garment up towards the shoulders of the garment. Long garments may be folded twice Slide the board out and flip garment over.

11 Lane Bryant and Cacique Tank & Cami Fold for Modes 3 and 4 Lay the garment flat with the front on the table. Fold the garment in half lengthwise. Line up armholes and smooth fabric, with outer seams on the right. Fold Fold garment in half so that the shoulder seam meets the bottom of the garment. Width of finished product will vary based on the size of the garment.

12 Lane Bryant Casual, Activewear & Intimate Apparel Pants Mode 3 Fold IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Lay the pant flat with the back on the table. Fold pant lengthwise, lining up the outer edges away from you. Smooth out edge seams so that the pant is neat and flat. Fold pant in half, and then fold the crotch area down. Fold the pant legs up 1/3 towards the top of the pant then fold again up to the waistband Turn the pant over.

13 Lane Bryant Casual, Activewear & Intimate Apparel Pants Mode 4 Fold IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Lay the pant flat with the back on the table. Fold pant lengthwise, lining up the outer edges away from you. Smooth out edge seams so that the pant is neat and flat. Fold pant in half, and then fold the crotch area down Fold the pant legs up in half to the waistband. 4. Turn the pant over. 4.

14 Lane Bryant Right Fit Denim Mode 3 Fold Lay the denim flat with the back on the table. Fold denim in half; align legs at the side seam. Lay flat with inseams on the left. Fold the bottom of the jean up to the point of the crotch Fold the point of the crotch in to the bottom of the leg seam. At the same time fold the leg seam over to create a straight line with the crotch seam, as shown. Both folds will fit perfectly together like a puzzle Fold the bottom of the leg over the top of the pocket to create a flat fold. When folding over, ensure that the fold is TIGHT so the fold is crisp. 6. Turn pant over. The width of the finished product will vary depending on the size of the garment.

15 Lane Bryant Right Fit Denim Mode 4 Fold Lay the denim flat with the back on the table. Fold denim in half; align legs at the side seam. Lay flat with inseams on the left. Fold in the point of the crotch and then fold the pant legs up in half to the waistband. The width of the finished product will vary depending on the size of the garment.

16 Lane Bryant Pleated & Non-Right Fit Denim Mode 3 Fold close up view of left side seam Tuck the rise seams to be even with low hip, and fold the pant lengthwise. Make sure the left side seam faces up, centered in the pant with all seams aligned. Place the board centered on the pant and below waistband. Fold the bottom of the pant up towards the top of the pant to meet the board, as shown. 4. Fold the bottom of the pant up again to the top of the pant Turn pant over. 4.

17 Lane Bryant Pleated & Non-Right Fit Denim Mode 4 Fold Tuck the rise seams to be even with low hip, and fold the pant lengthwise. Make sure the left side seam faces up, centered in the pant with all seams aligned. Place the board centered on the pant and below waistband. Fold the bottom of the pant up towards the top of the pant as shown.

18 Lane Bryant Shorts Fold for Modes 3 and 4 Lay the shorts flat with the back on the table. Fold the shorts lengthwise, lining up the outer edges away from you. Smooth edge seams so the shorts are neat and flat.

19 Lane Bryant Skirts Mode 3 Fold Lay the skirt flat with the front on the table. Fold the side seams towards the center back, left side first. Fold the bottom of the skirt about 1/3 of the way up to the waistband Fold again up to the top of the waist Turn the skirt over. The width of the finished product will vary depending on the size and length of the garment. 12"

20 Lane Bryant Skirts Mode 4 Fold Lay the skirt flat with the front on the table. Fold the skirt in half with the back on the inside. Fold the bottom of the skirt to to the top of the waist. 4. Turn the skirt over. 4.

21 Cacique Panty Fold for Modes 3 and 4 PANTY FOLD If panty exceeds bundle size, please follow the fold instructions. Otherwise, please pack flat. Lay the panty flat on the table with the front facing down. Repeat, layering all panties beginning with the smallest down on the table first ending with the largest face down on the top. In this illustration you are looking at the back of the largest panty. Turn over, fold the stacked panties in half lengthwise.

22 Cacique Babydoll Set for Modes 3 and 4 BABYDOLL SET WITH PANTY ATTACHMENT Attachment should be through the care labels with 2 swift-tack. Panty should hang to the inside of the garment..

23 Cacique Gown, Sleepshirt, Chemise & Babydoll Mode 3 Fold Lay the garment flat with the front on the table. Take the left arm and side seams and fold toward center back. For long sleeve garments fold the sleeve back towards the shoulder. Then repeat for the right side sleeve and seam. For garments over 38 fold the bottom of the garment approximately 1/3 of the way up towards the top of the garment. For garments under 38 fold the bottom approximately 1/2 the way up towards the top Fold the bottom to the top of the garment Turn the garment over. Thin straps can be tucked under the garment. The width of the finished product will vary depending on the size and length of the garment.

24 Cacique Gown, Sleepshirt, Chemise & Babydoll Mode 4 Fold Lay the garment flat with the front on the table. Fold the sleeves along seams towards the center. Fold the garment in half, with the back on the inside. Fold the bottom up to just below the collar Turn the garment over.

25 Cacique Robe Fold for Modes 3 and 4 ROBE Lay the robe flat with the front on the table and bring the ties to the back and lay them flat. Keep ties flat and tucked into the robe as you fold. Take the left arm and fold straight across the back of the robe to the right shoulder. Repeat with right arm. Take the left side of the robe and fold the entire length of the robe to the center. Repeat for the right side. 4. fold 4. Fold the bottom to the top of the robe Turn the robe over. 26 Lane Bryant Outerwear Modes 3 and 4 Outerwear Mode 3: The only requirements are folds must be minimal to reduce creasing and not exceed the bundle requirements in the Routing Guide. Outerwear Mode 4: Most outerwear will be ordered Flat to Hang. Please see Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual section for outerwear.

27 Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual OUTERWEAR, JACKETS, TOPS, DRESSES, GOWNS, SLEEPSHIRTS, CHEMISE, LONG SHIRTS, BABY DOLL These are general requirements for mode 4 orders that require hangers. See fold guidelines section for specific folding instructions. Hold the garment on the hanger, allowing the sleeves to hang freely at the sides. The hanger hook should be open to the left. Pack flat. If garment exceeds carton size fold once. The garment should be placed flat in carton, in alternating directions if necessary to maintain carton balance. Secure the hangers to the inside of the carton to minimize movement while in transit.

28 Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual FRONT HANGING PANTS, SKIRTS For pants/shorts that are belted, have drawstring, front detailing, all IA pants, all skirts These are general requirements for mode 4 orders that require hangers. Push clamps on hanger all the way to the right and left, fold in pants (or skirt) at side seams on waistband so hanging garment does not extend past the hanger. If there is a joker this should show on your right side. The clamp must never cover the joker. The hanger hook should be open to the left. Pack flat. If garment exceeds carton size fold once. The garment should be placed flat in carton, in alternating directions if necessary to maintain carton balance. Secure the hangers to the inside of the carton to minimize movement while in transit.

29 Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual SIDE HANGING PANTS For pants, jeans, shorts that are NOT belted, do NOT have drawstrings or front details. These are general requirements for mode 4 orders that require hangers. Tuck the rise seams to be even with low hip, and fold the pant lengthwise. Make sure the left side seam faces up, centered in the pant with all seams aligned. If there is a joker this should show on your right side. The clamp must never cover the joker. Push clamps on hanger all the way to the right and left, clamp hanging garment so it does not extend past the hanger. The hanger hook should be open to the left. Pack flat. If garment exceeds carton size fold once. 3 The garment should be placed flat in carton, in alternating directions if necessary to maintain carton balance Secure the hangers to the inside of the carton to minimize movement while in transit.

30 Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual SHORT BRA HANGING (Padded Bras and Padded Cup Shapewear Body Shapers) Adjust the straps to the shortest length possible. Hook the straps into the hanger 1/2-3/4 away from where the bra joins the strap at the front and back as shown. Extra strap length should hang between the front and back strap as shown. 31 Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual LONG BRA HANGING (Non-Padded Bras Only) Adjust the straps to the shortest length possible. Line up back strap to be covered by the front of the bra. 32 Lane Bryant and Cacique Flat to Hang Manual PANTY HANGING Center the hanger on the panty and slide panty through the side clips of the hanger from the back. Fold in the sides of the material so the front and back of the panty are the same width. Slide the front panel into the side clip of the hanger so that it wraps around the clip.
