5 Acceptable All shirts, blouses, sweaters, sweatshirts and tops with waistbands that are not tucked in must be neatly hemmed and fall no longer than the fingertips while standing. If it does not comply with these standards, it must be tucked in.
6 Acceptable Unacceptable T-shirts must have sleeves and a crew neck. Scoop neck and V-neck T-shirts are not allowed.

14 Unacceptable Midriffs See-through fabrics or materials that show skin or undergarments are not allowed. should not be exposed.
15 Acceptable Collared Sweaters & Crewneck Sweaters
16 Acceptable Scoop neck and V-neck sweaters or vests MUST have a collared or crew neck shirt underneath them.
17 Pants, Jeans, Shorts, Skorts, Capris, Skirts, Leggings & Dresses
18 Acceptable Males may wear pants, jeans or shorts. Females may wear pants, jeans, shorts, skorts, skirts, or capris.
19 Pants, shorts, skorts, skirts, or capris can be solid colors Jeans can be any Color.
20 Embellishments are allowed on jeans as long as they are not deemed a distraction by administration.
21 Unacceptable Pants cannot be see-through. PANTS MUST BE FITTED AT THE WAIST!
22 Length of shorts, skorts, skirts, dresses no shorter than three (3) inches above the knee while standing. Skirts, dresses or the top of the slit in a skirt or dress cannot be more than 3 above the knee while standing.
23 Acceptable All shorts, pants, skorts, skirts, capris, jeans must be: fitted at the waist properly hemmed or cuffed and worn with a belt (even if shirt is able to be worn untucked). If they have belt loops, you must wear a belt!
24 ACCEPTABLE CUFFS: joggers
25 Unacceptable Sweatpants, wind pants, warm ups, and nylon athletic shorts are not allowed.

30 Unacceptable Trench coats and other outerwear deemed by administration to be a distraction or potential safety hazard will not be permitted. Campus administration has the authority to impose additional standards for outerwear.

32 Acceptable All shoes must have a back strap or closed heel.
33 Unacceptable Sandals/Jandals which do not have a back strap are prohibited. Flip flops are not allowed. House shoes may not be worn.
34 Hair & Facial Hair
35 Unacceptable No facial hair. No sideburns below the ear lobe.
36 Unacceptable Mohawks are not allowed. Hair must be of natural color.
37 Dreadlocks are acceptable.
38 What about? Tattoos Jewelry & Piercings Caps & Hats Accessories Glasses & Contact Lenses
39 Headwear & Bandanas - Unacceptable No bandanas will be permitted. Caps, Hats, headgear, hoods on hoodies, jackets, and coats may not be worn inside the building. Hats should be left in your car or kept in your backpack.
40 Unacceptable Tattoos should not be visible. All tattoos must be covered.
41 Acceptable Girls may wear earrings Earrings Unacceptable Male students may not wear earrings... including, but not limited to: strings, wire, band-aids, posts or staples. Girls can ONLY wear 2 earrings per ear.
42 Earrings & Body Piercings Unacceptable Piercings anywhere except the ear are unacceptable. Gauges are not allowed. Implanted piercings must be covered.
43 Unacceptable Jewelry or accessories which are distracting or could be used as weapons Includes, but is not limited to: mouth grills, pocket or wallet chains, spiked or studded rings, collars or wrist bands
44 Unacceptable Dark-lensed glasses (unless you have a written statement of medical need from your doctor) Contact lenses which are: Not a natural color Disruptive to the educational environment
45 Special Events or Activities: Administration shall have authority to waive the wearing of standardized dress for certain days due to special events or special activities. Students who choose not to participate in the special days are expected to wear standardized dress.
46 Extra Curricular Dress Code The principal, in cooperation with the sponsor, coach, or other person in charge of an extracurricular activity, may regulate the dress and grooming of students who participate in the activity. Students who violate dress and grooming standards established for such an activity may be removed or excluded from the activity for a period determined by the principal or sponsor, and may be subject to other disciplinary action, as specified in the Student Code of Conduct.
47 Compliance If a student attends schools in violation of dress code, disciplinary steps as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct and Student Handbook will be taken. Principals will review the dress code requirements on an annual basis.
48 Final Authority School administrators will have complete and final judgment on all matters concerning interpretation of the student standardized dress. Principals at the Secondary levels will develop enforcement guidelines to assure consistency in implementing the district dress code. The code is not applicable for the Disciplinary Alternative Education Placement. Dress standards for those students will be determined by the campus administrator and clearly communicated. Exemptions for religious or medical reasons may be addressed through campus administration.
