She exploits the drama inherent in objects, tapping into mythologies and the inherent shape shifting of objects. She further plumbs metaphysical questions raised by our relationship to life's quotidian activities and objects. Kher's work has been the subject of numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout India, Europe and the United States. It was most recently featured at Kukje Gallery in Seoul (2013); Parasol Unit for Contemporary Art, London (2013); Hauser & Wirth, New York (2013) and Gallery Emmanuel Perrotin, Hong Kong (2013).
