3 Artistar Jewels 2018 Artistar Jewels has now arrived to its fifth edition and has improved with new contents and great news to increase the visibility of its artists. Artistar Jewels 2018 reconfirms the same formula that got great success in the previews editions: an international publication with all the works from artists coming from all over the world, an exhibition in one of the greatest location in Milan and the online channel Artstarjewels.com. - The Artistar Jewels 2018 book will gather the selected creations of international artists and designers. It will be distributed in Italian and major European libraries and delivered to more than 5000 buyers, galleries and international journalists. - The Artistar Jewels Exhibition will take place during the Milan Fashion Week from February 22nd to the 25th at Palazzo dei Giureconsulti in the heart of Milan. - The Artistar Jewels Contest involves several numerous prizes, the experts jurors will select more than 30 pieces that will receive further visibility. The winners will be exhibited in a prestigious internatioal galleries and will have the chance to work with great institutions of the field. - Ten international concept stores will select creations that will be put on sale in great locations. 4 How to participate to Artistar Jewels 2018 In order to take part to the selection for Artistar Jewels 2018, the candidate has to send to a brief biography and some pictures of the jewels the artist wants to submit along with a technical and conceptual description of the creation. The parameters kept in consideration for Artistar Jewels 2018 selection: - Unique pieces or pieces produced in small series - Jewels with a recognizable style - Creations made of traditional materials interpreted under an original and personal view, or pieces realized with a innovative materials. 5 How to participate to Artistar Jewels 2018 The steps to take to participate to Artistar Jewels The editorial staff will make a selection of the best art creations of the artists and designers. Then, our representatives will call the selected candidates and introduce the project by telling the jewels of our interest 2. Within 7 days from the receiving of the explanatory , the candidate has to confirm his/her participation to the project, by sending the signed contract to info@artistarjewels. com 3. In order to formalize the subscription the payment of the fee shall be done at the signature of the contract. 4. Within 20 days from the signature of the contract the documents for the participation shall be filled. They can be found at the following address: forms&lang=en 5. All the selected creations shall be sent to the Artistar Jewels headquarter, at via Sansovino, 6 in Milan, between the 11th and the 15th December 2017 for the photographic shooting. In case the designer wants to include into the publication his/her own pictures, the team of Artistar Jewels will verify that the pictures are characterized by the graphic parameters required. 6 Artistar Jewels 2018 INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION The book will be distributed in Italian bookstores and in the major European capitals. It will be also delivered to 400 concept stores, jewels galleries, international journalists. Its digital version will be sent to more than 5000 international contacts in the industry: buyers, jewels galleries and journalists PHOTO SHOOT The images for the publication will be taken by a professional photographer specialized in fashion & jewels. The pictures will also be sent to the participants, so that they can employ them for their promotion (quoting the credits: courtesy Artistar Jewels) COMPLIMENTARY COPY Each participants will receive a free copy of the volume Artistar Jewels 2018 and will be granted a discount on the price for each extra copy as stated in the Additional Services Form. EXHIBITION Artistar Jewels Exhibition will take place from February 22nd to February 25th 2018 during the Fashion Week in the great location of Palazzo dei Giureconsulti in via Mercanti 2, in the heart of Milan. On Febrauary 23rd, from 6pm there will be the Awarding Night with the presentation of the book. On Thursday 22nd there will be a meeting for the participants only, that will be a great chance for cultural and professional discussion among the artists. PRESS OFFICE Our press office will take care of the spreading of the project for 12 months. Will write and publish the press releases abut Artistar Jewels 2018 project. It will provide all the grafic and textual material to magazines periodical for the publication of editorials, dividing the images of the jewels into themes: Design, Art, Innovation, Green, Fashion, and Fine, to faciliate the journalists. In additional, on the press areas of the website all the downloadable infos like images, taglines and press reviews will be available. COMMUNICATION STRATEGY The event will be fostered through the social networks and web. An editorial and social plan has been created. These involce various communication strategies as: suspance creation for the event with the realizatio of patch with th selected jewels, publication on our webportal of news about Artistar Jewels, collaboration with influencer with whom Artistar Jeewels have been interacting for many years and sponsored campaigns. Last but not least, the event will be published on the best paper and electronic guides about the fashio week. ARTISTAR CONTEST Once again this year, all the participants will take part in the Artistar Jewels Contest. Winners will be selected by a prestigious jury made up of important players in the sector. ON LINE SALE All pieces will be on sale on Artistar Jewels will retain a 15% royalty from sold items SALE IN THE CONCEPT STORES Ten Concept Store will select, among the participants of Artistar Jewels 2018, some brand whose creations will be sold in their stores. 9 FAQ How many jewels can I submit? We suggest to send 8/10 pieces of the latest collections. The creative directors will select two, four or six for the participation to the project based on the picked package. Will I find the book in the book stores? Yes, you will. The book will be present in all Italian bookstores and also distributed in the major European cities. It will be available in Italian stores such as Feltrinelli, Mondadori, Hoepli and it will also be purchased through web shops likeibs, Amazon, Feltrinelli.it, Unilibro.it. How much will the book cost? The cover price will be 60,00. Participants will be given a free copy and will be entitled of a disconunt on the additional purchased copies. Do I have to provide all the images you need for the publication? No, you don t. We kindly ask you to receive the jewels for the shooting at our headquarter in via Sansovino 6, in Milan from December 11th to 15th In case the designer wants to include into the publication his/her own pictures, the team of Artistar Jewels will verify that the images are characterized by the graphic parameters required. Will you organize an opening event in order to promote the show and the creations exhibited? Yes, on February 23rd there will be an invitation night in which the winners of the contest will be awarded and the book Artistar Jewels 2018 will be presented. On Febrauary 22nd an encounter among the participant will take place and it will be a great opportunity to meet you all. How will the project be promoted? Our press office will handle the promotion of the entire project through web channels and printed matters: press releases to website and a number of publications in the sector and communication on the social networks and on the Artistar.it portal. The press review will be available in the dedicated area on Artistarjewels.com website. In addition, the e-books will be sent to more than 5000 international contacts ensuring the spreading of the volume and its content. Is there any security system inside the exhibit location? Yes, Giureconsulti Palace is provided with an alarm system, additionally, all the rooms are monitored by cameras and there willl also be a keeper. Do the pictures taken for the book have an additional cost? No all the pictures that will be published will be delivered to the designers without asking for an additional payment. In this way, participants can also have a professional photographic archive of their creations. Do I have to be present at the venue for the duration of the exhibition? Artist presence is not mandatory. However, we advise you to be in your stand to meet visitors in order to give them any information for the creations.
