It has been extremely important in providing me confidence and a broader viewpoint to approach the field of interior designing. PRATAP SIMON After my studies at Lakhotia Institute of Design I wanted to do something out of the box. Presently, I am working as a Senior Stylist in Mumbai. I see a lot of opportunities in future as people are now becoming aware of fashion and sense of style. I worked with celebrities like Sushmita Sen, Mugdha Godse, Sonal Chauhan, Isha Gupta, Aslam Khan, Asif Merchant, Vikram Phadnis. RAULA SANKEERTHANA I did PG Diploma in Fashion Design from Lakhotia Institute of Design, Hyderabad. At present I am working as Manager at Portmans, Australia, and Visual Merchandiser at Levi's. Since my childhood, I have been fascinated with design, colours and wanted to work in a creative field like fashion design. I feel a designer or artist has the freedom of expressing any emotion, feeling, happiness or even sadness through his/her artwork, it can be through any form of art. I have experienced that design solves problems and helps explore new avenues. My current objective is to take up design related projects so that I am able to apply my ideas and techniques that I have learnt. MOHIT Studying at Lakhotia Institute of Design was of great value to me in my path to a fruitful professional career. As the faculty had worked in the real time industry themselves it created an instant and easier connect between theory and the practical work environment. 11 SOLOMAN RAJU At present I am working as Interior Designer at KITCHEN BY, Hyderabad Since my childhood, I have been fascinated with design, colours and wanted to work in a creative field like design. I have experienced that design solves problems and helps explore new avenues. SAMEER JUNIADI Thanks to Lakhotia Institute of Design for helping me to turn my passion into profession. I design for love and not for money and this is what has kept me going. As a freelancer I have worked with some wonderful clients. Every assignment has helped me grow tremendously. It s been a fabulous journey that started with experimenting and having fun in college to facing real clients and celebrities in the real world and now designing for the length and breadth of the country. MAAZ BIN ISMAIL I always wanted to excel in the field of Interior designing; hence I pursued a Course in Interior Design and space planning from Lakhotia Institute Design. I worked for Reliance as Interior planner for their stores across the country and now I am working as a Space Designer and project manager for Apollo Hospitals for pan India where we do designing for commercial hospitality design. On job I travel a lot. My dream of excelling in this field inspires me to move forward in life and my passion for same the overflows in my performance. KRISHNAN SUJEETH I came into the Fashion Design course as a confused child and graduated as a confident design professional. This transformation was possible because of the education I received at Lakhotia Institute of Design from a very knowledgeable and helpful set of faculties, who created an invigorating environment for learning at the Institute. Through this course, I was able to build a skill level and a way of thinking that has helped me rise at every step in the industry. Presently I am working as Fashion Stylist at Telugu Film Industry and designing costumesfor Tollywood Movies. AARTI LADDA It is a complete course touching all major areas of design, art, craft culture of India in respect to current fashion. Coming from absolutely different background, I learnt the basics right from threading a hand-sewing needle to stitching high-fashion Couture Garments in a span of just one year. And now i feel more responsible for the revival and uplift of rich Indian Crafts and our artisans especially in the field of textile and textile ornamentation. Presently I am working in KASHISH, the renowned retail designer outlet of Hyderabad. I am thankful to Lakhotia Institute of Design for providing me the adequate knowledge to be a successful fashion designer.
