2 About MOTTO Established in 1985, MOTTO rapidly became one of the leading agents in the greeting card and gift article business. MOTTO is a healthy, expanding company and consists of a team of dedicated employees at our headquarter near Copenhagen, Denmark, at our offices and throughout the country in Finland, Sweden and Russia.
3 Internationally successful Currently our products are sold in more than 40 countries worldwide. MOTTO distribute to all the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe (Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other CIS countries).
4 Standards and responsibilities Uncompromisingly top grade! Our products appeal to all ages. And we are fully aware of the weight of this enormous responsibility. Fulfilling all legal requirements and beyond! In most cases we are not content to "merely" fulfill legislative requirements. Wherever possible, we will try to do it even better! Quality approved by the TÜV (Technical Inspection Authority) From idea, design and concept development to production, quality control and logistic everything is closely followed. In the course of developing each product, we additionally consult the TÜV. This guarantees the highest levels of quality and safety. Fair working conditions It was always important for us to be aware of our obligation to take working conditions at the production sites seriously. It was therefore a logical step for our supplier to join the BSCI ( and strive together with the approx. 900 other member companies of the Business Social Compliance Initiative for a lasting improvement in on-site conditions. Amongst numerous other points, the members of the BSCI are committed to the prohibition of child labour and the provision of health and safety at work. Paper products on FSC certified paper All of our paper products ordered by our supplier since are printed on FSC-certified paper. For the sake of the environment, we obviously have not destroyed the existing stock. This means that there may be products that do not have the FSC logo if they have been produced before
5 Product development Product development one of the central parts of our success - is carried out from the start with close collaboration between the graphics, design and purchasing departments. Joint management of these departments provides for the optimal coordination and development of new designs, products and concepts by: - joint focussing on trends and themes - artistic product development - packaging, quality and safety testing - the development of in store presentation
6 Our range of concepts Our colourful workbook of concepts includes high-quality greeting cards, trend items and gift articles featuring the very succesful product range from e.g. TOPModel, Princess Mimi, Monster Cars, Ylvi & the Minimoomis, Snukis, Miss Melody and many more
7 Presentation Our colourful and eye-catching products and displays and creative and fun events, draw much attention in the shops.
8 We TOPModel We can not help being particularly proud and highlight the TOPModel concept; A glamorous and creative universe, which besides a popular website, a creative magazine and an array of trendy products also includes lots of activitites in the shops as well as on the social medias. An example of this succesful cohesion between media and products includes the unique drawing school tutorials in the TOPModel colouring books as well as on the TOPModel YouTube channel. The colouringbooks include a step by step colouring training which provides young artists all secret ways to increase their drawing skills and get fantastic colouring results + QR code for direct access to colouring tutorial video on the TOPModel channel on YouTube. To be up-to-date with the latest TOPModel news, novelties, competitions etc., TOPModel fans are invited to follow the TOPModels on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, while being part of the community on top-model.biz which offers plenty of entertainment in the form of games, forums, competitions, tips and lots of creative drawing and design options. TOPModel - Creative Magazine by Depesche is published in 16 Europen countries. The magazine is published every month and can be purchased at most major supermarkets, local kiosks and newsstands.
